LL's that have an "other link sites" category
 

When people submit their LL/TGP to your "other link sites" category where are they putting your recip link?

I think they should list your site in a similar "links" category on their site... instead of hiding your recip on a feeder warning/doorway page. What do you think... shouldn't this be more of a trade between traffic sites than a normal listing?

Hi Verbal. I agree with you on that one. When I submitted Punani a couple of years ago it didnt occur to me and I did mirror pages but my lastest I have put the recips in the category More Sex Lists. I wish I had done the same before just because its tidier and better for seo imho.

If another LL is submitting to my Link Sites cat a listing in their equivalent cat is fine with me :)

I ask b/c I declined a submission yesterday for giving me a feeder recip when they had a "more links" category avail... then I questioned if I should've declined it.

I really need to add that category. I too have wondered where the recip is expected to be. There should be a judicial ruling on this type of thing.

If you want to do a normal trade with other links lists, why not just ask for a hard link trade on the front pages? When someone submits a links list to us in the normal fashion, it either goes in Adult Directories or Webmaster Resources, depending on which category they submitted to and whether or not they accept outside submissions.

The problem with putting the reciprocal in your links list as if it were a regular submission is that the link will move to another page as your list grows. A lot of links list owners require that the recip be on the page submitted and use scripts to check that periodically. You'd end up being automatically deleted when the recip link goes to another page.

I agree too and will not accept a site that does that. Put me somewhere I might at least see 3-4 hits a week.

Mine go on the niche page I'm trading with, or if it's the whole LL then I put that on the index, and ask for one back on the others index, or if more appropriate, the 1st page in :)

If it's a genuine Links List with genuine submissions, then a link in their More Links / Links Lists type category is absolutely fine. Anything else is vaguely silly IMO.

If it's a fake links list, they've got two hopes and Bob's no more.

I have an "Other Free Sites" category that links from just about every page on my site. I subbed my site to all the LL on this page, listing it as the recip url and I think only 3 LL reciprocated...:(

Yea, if you get a reply to your email....
I emailed some webmsaters a week or so ago and still no reply from them , if they will accept a link trade or no.....I suppose everyone hate beaing ignored...
Anyway , I was looking for some fresh trades, index and cats as well , if someone has a REAL link list , and some high PR, like 5 :-) can send me an email.
