I usually go to Amazon to read the reviews and then go to PriceGrabber to actually buy something. I bet Amazon just loves me for doing that.

After looking at them I'd still chose my Acer. I've had it for a year now and it has been a trooper. I got it for like $500 cheaper than the Panasonic + it has twice the memory and HD, 15" screen and a DVD-RW.

anybody here who would recommend a Dell?

I have a Vaio that's a few years old now...never had any probs with it...other than the battery stopped holding charge after about 3 years...

By that time, it wasn't worth the Sony price for a new battery pack :(

That Vaio looks pretty hot. Widescreen and it looks quite skinny.

yeah. for me its also hot... do u think that notebook (Vaio) has a reasonable price? or anyone here knows where to buy a cheaper one??? SexyCityJim, might give me something like this.. lol |waves|

actually, that model is one of the cheaper notebook of Sony. but for me its even better compared to their other hi-end products. take a look at the design alone, watha think? looks like an iMac lol.... and the features are somewhat similar to the Hi-ends... take a look at the other models of sony (if you have time)..

i bought a great dell puter about 9 months ago, my hubby stole it from me, and the not to mention he also got a very nice dell laptop.......and here i sitt with unknown puter 17 inch screen while my hubby got the best..........in one year still no problems with the dell stuff its great i only hate you can buy their shit only online
