I need to advertise site/and looking for people to advertise on my site
I have a sex toy site, I need to find the best ways to advertise it. Also thinking of putting advertisers on my site. new to this
any help is appreciated |
You could open up an affiliate program & pay people a percent of the sales that they refer to you (but don't put ads for other sites on there if you do that)
|
Ya, Greenguy's idea is about the only *good* way to do it. I wouldn't even think about PPC (pay per click) or CPM (pay per 1k impressions) as it will get exploited. The only other thing I can think of is make your own sites/free sites/galleries and promote your store on them. You might also look into things like AdBrite and AdWords.

hmm i am with Green Guy on this Affiliate Program with % is the way to go for online store ;)

It looks like you're using OSCommerce for your cart.
There is OSC-Max which does include a fairly decent affiliate program built in -- and you can just import/upgrade your existing cart. It used to be aabox.com that had released it, but, perhaps oscdox.com still has a link somewhere to it. |

yes OSCommerce |
Processing = who handles the money transactions (credit cards, checking, etc)
I'd ask OSCommerce if they have or can recomend an affiliate program. |

2Checkout - is the processor (Shame could have seen me :-( )
You can do a couple of things with an adult store which you can not do with paysites. There are companies similar to trade doubler who operate in the UK that have affiliates in place, as you are selling physical goods they are OK working with you. Im using adbryte right now and placing text links on certain sites, Im also shifting a product (It will remain nameless as they were roasted here for spaming) its turned out to be really effective for very little outlay. If you offer wish lists then amateur girls with solo sites/escorts may be good source of traffic revenue as they get shit bought for them for shoots and just for the hell of it. |
