The camera can be set to fully manual. It is a true SLR so what I see is what I get. Interchangeably lenses. I can shoot about fifty high rez images before it pauses to write to the card so no missing the money shot or anything like that. The camera's software, (its menus), are intuitive so it is easy to learn. Battery last for hours. Two batteries is more then enough for even a really long shoot. It feels and handles just like a 35mm SLR.
Things that I don't like about it.
No mechanical shutter release socket so you have to buy an expensive remote control instead of just a cable release. Also no PC socket so you have to buy an expensive hot shoe adapter for using it with studio strobes. Both of these things are minor and seems to be the way all the digitals are now.
Your camera is fine for doing eBay stuff. :)
