Happy Stormy Hump Day

Good Morning People. :)

Looking to be a rainy day here and hurricane season doesn't even start for a few weeks but there is a freak storm heading the wrong way in our way.

I'm still looking around at 5500 watt generators. I was going to buy one from a friend of a friend but after they saw this year's storm projections they decided not to sell theirs. CD34 said that the Publix up by him was selling them at a good price so I'm going to see if the Publix by me is also selling generators. I guess only in Florida could you go grocery shopping and buy a generator at the same time.

Luna is coming over this afternoon so that I can put a Tiger in her laptop and other then that I should be home providing online entertainment to the horny masses.

Happy Whip'em Out Wednesday Everyone! |boobies|

TheBitch is having a Purse Party here today - get this little scam: the lady shows up about an hour before the party, drops off boxes of purses with price tags on them & then leaves. She might be back to pick up the money & the unsold purses after the party or maybe tomorrow. No selling or marketing skills required - just let the poor sap that said they'd have the "party" try to sell this crap.

I also have to yell at my contractor because the goofball that put a light out near the rod hung it in the wrong place & it looks very White Trashy.

I think I have to call the pool contractor too as there's no grass where they had all their heavy machinery last fall :(

Rocco 2005-05-18 08:39 AM

good morning all - rainy here as well :(

MrMaryLou 2005-05-18 08:42 AM

Good morning all :) Now where did I put my back up can of coffee???

Jim 2005-05-18 08:49 AM

Yo
Good Morning
Looking like a splendid day today. Everything except my father is coming here today and spending the night. Not with us but, still...in town. So, I will be here hiding out most of the day.

"I also have to yell at my contractor because the goofball that put a light out near the rod hung it in the wrong place & it looks very White Trashy."

I'd keep it that way just to piss off my neighbors :-)

Good Morning.

Purse lady? These home biz people are getting more lazy by the year. They don't even stay and sell? LOL

Good morning and happy humpin whip em out whatever day this is

Damn purses are rediculous - I cannot understand why something that has a single use can sell so many different versions - my college girls that work for me probably buy three a week between them - and thats at somewhere around $50 a pop each
Then there's shoes - the new fad seems to be these little canvas shoes that have different colored sequins all over them - Im gonna have to go to the craft store and get some bags of sequins and some elmers glue - Ill make a killing on these things

Have fun and off to tan some bodies for the day - 150 women flowing through the door to lie down in my beds (what a world) :)

swedguy 2005-05-18 09:33 AM

Morning all :)

I think I can actually get some work done today. So far this week I've only played catch-up with myself + wasted most of the day yesterday on that "#¤% CSS thing.

Fonz 2005-05-18 09:50 AM

Morning all,

The weather here hasn't decided if it should switch to summer mode or it should stay in this rainy/cloudy/little bit of sun mode it has been hanging in for the last few months.

time to get me some cheetos

I just finished pruning and watering my grapes. Very stimulating work. I'm sort of tired again today eventhough I got a good full night's rest. May have to take a little nap today.

Cleo 2005-05-18 10:57 AM

You just have to wonder who would actually want to date someone here.

I see Expedia.com run ads on their site so that you can book that platonic romantic prison weekend getaway.

juggernaut 2005-05-18 11:12 AM

well good day to you all. I dont care what happens today. As long as the world spins for at least 48 more hours. 1) so I can go see SWIII tonight at 12 am 2) so I can come back and post a huge spoiler at 4am lol.

swedguy 2005-05-18 11:22 AM

I have yet to see a Star Wars. I once saw couple of minutes of one once and gave up... don't understand the whole hype.

I think I even chose an Arnold or Stallone movie over a sci-fi movie ;)

cd34 2005-05-18 11:28 AM

Juggernaut,

Be sure to explain how Anakin turns into James Earl Jones at the end of the movie. And technically, anyone who saw the Star Wars released in 1977 knows the ending already.

cd34 2005-05-18 12:31 PM

Publix is all about convenience and profits. Although, I really don't see how they are making much money on them. $600 for a 5500 watt Briggs & Stratton generator with the wheel kit is rather aggressive. It does look like they are expecting a major hurricane. Bottled water lining the aisles and checkouts, they had a lot more non-perishables on the shelves. Most of the water is that Orlando Tap Water run through Reverse Osmosis stuff that is still more expensive than gas, but, they are at least a bit ahead of Albertsons & Winn Dixie. I might buy a few dozen gallons of fuel today.

this is about the best link I can find
Tropical Storm Adrian -- Can't you just hear Sly yelling at the storm as it passes by? Adriannnnnn! Adriannnnnnn!

My prediction is actually that the storm will not make it across Cuba and will go up the Gulf and make landfall around Pensacola as a Tropical Wave. Tradesports hasn't put options up on it yet.

I have to finish my other project really soon. :)

Greenguy 2005-05-18 12:45 PM

There are way too many links to .gov sites on this board today :D

pornrex 2005-05-18 12:56 PM

stuveltje 2005-05-18 01:20 PM

ahum lol there are always some hours time difference in europe its now 7.19 evening here, i was on the net this morning, but yeah because i am all day home, i am doomed with kids things, to pitty they are to young to help me on the net, otherwise i could punish them to do my reviews because i had to spent so much time with them :D

Linkster 2005-05-18 01:27 PM

Cleo - thats a fantastic price on those - I may have to get you to buy one and hold it till I get there in August :) Cheapest I could find them on the web was around 725 :(

Cleo 2005-05-18 01:47 PM

None of the Publix by me has generators and they looked at me like I was crazy when I asked about them.

5500s that I've found
$575 refub, no wheels no tax or shipping http://electricgeneratorsdirect.com/...roducts_id=237

$699 no tax or shipping http://electricgeneratorsdirect.com/...roducts_id=375

$699 is also what Home Depot is selling them for but there I have to pay 6% tax.
