Also, speaking of get togethers, we have a thing called Webmaster Wednesday here in central Michigan. Each Wednesday a group of webmasters get together for lunch and biz chat here in Saginaw. If anyone is interested in joining us hit me at smoothie at sex-circus.com.

The location will be disclosed as soon as we have a rough idea of how many people will be coming. So please RSVP as soon as you can.
But it will be located at a restraunt/bar in downtown Chicago. (Northside, most likely)

This will be a night of food, drinks and conversation. Come out share ideas, make connections or just meet people from the board. We don't bite. (Well, most of us don't.)

thats awesome you guys are going thru with this, i wish i could make it there, but i'm not gonna be back home in illinois til october :( but you guys have fun, chicago is an awesome city!

A few of you have emailed me. Anyone else interesed in meeting their fellow webmasters in this area?

Ok guys time is counting down. You have 3 weeks to email me with your RSVP. I know I wouldn't like to miss it and find out after about the great times everyone had meeting each other. Not to mention missing out on biz networking.

Instead of asking yourself “why didn’t I?” Take the opportunity to meet webmasters just like yourself. This is not limited to elite webmasters or I wouldn’t be attending. These are everyday webmasters getting together to swap stories working the Midwest environment and helping if they can.

You can get more done in one evening person to person than you can in a month on the board. Who’s knows what else you may get out of it biz wise! At the very least you get to have some great food and participate in one of the worlds greatest night club strips. That’s worth the trip/time alone.

Whats up!

I'm new to the board, but not new to the biz. (Been going since 97) We are based in Ravenswood (Chicago) and are interested in meeting you guys as well.

I haven't really been active on any boards, though i read them all. But this place seems like the most accepting and open minded. (A lot less flames / thread than the others)

Anyway, post some more info about location and what not, I will find out how many from our company are going to make it.

Funny you guys should pick that weekend I am 90% sure I will be in Chicago so I can attend my first Bears game at the newly revamped Soldier Field. I will have to make sure I meet up with you guys! Packers vs Bears so if anyone would like to join me on that sunday hit me up so we can get tickets at once. I beleive the Perfection Girls guys ar e interested as well in the Bears Packers game idea.

At the moment we are looking at a couple places on or close to N Rush St. We need a better idea of how many are planning to come to set the exact place. Different restaurants have different size rooms available to be reserved. As of now we do know that it will be on Saturday the 29th of this month, from 6 til??? Those who want to go clubbing after will have ample opportunity to do so :D

We look forward to meeting new friends and old :)

It turns out that in order for me to keep my 84,900 frequent flier miles on American Airlines that I need to either use them by mid November or purcahse a ticket for pretty much any place.

Chicago could be fun. Haven't been there in years. How many people will be there?

It all depends. We are expecting a small gathering (between 10 and 15) but who knows. I think the more people that say they are coming, the more people will come.

Chicago is a great place to visit for the weekend. And by then the weather should be fantastic.

You said you wanted a reply so I am sorry I can't make it as there is the small problem of the Atlantic in the way. Sorry. Everyone have fun meeting one another though. Have a drink for me!|violin|

I am going. A buddy of mine rooms with a bartender at the legroom. so i will probably end up there at least once during my trip out there.
