Anybody here live in Alabama?
 

I'm not quite up to speed on things, but I just read that it's illegal to sell dildos or any other sex toy in Alabama because of a law passed in 1998. The Bible belt is a pretty interesting place. :)

I assume that by "interesting", you mean, "completely and totally fucked up beyond all comprehension."

There are a handful of states where sex toys are still illegal, including - if I'm not mistaken - Texas. (They may have recently overturned this law, I'm not sure - I try to follow this type of legislation but it doesn't get the kind of media attention I think it deserves.)

If these states are so damned concerned about people's sex lives, they really ought to think about focusing on the inbreeding problem.

I was having a discussion with some people that were ardently against gay marriage. They said that marriage is for the sole purpose of having children.

I said, well then, deny marriage licenses to any woman that has had a hysterectomy or any man that has had a vascectomy.

"That's not the same, now you're just being stupid."
