When is enough categories enough???

We are not scheduled to change anything...just wondering...

Ebony Porn...yes....Ebony Teen Porn....maybe everything else I think would fall into whatever category it would fall under.

Not that my opinion matters. But I have been submiting to FreeSiteXXX recently.

I don't have a problem with the categories themselves. But the categorized recips are another matter. Some sites are just getting out of hand with the endless lists of categorized recips.

If I have to change my ebony recip table for each site based on the age of the model, size of her boobs, hair color, various positions, and number/sex of partners, then it starts to become a problem.

So break the ebony category down into as many sub-sub-sub-categories as you want, but please just have one multi-purpose ebony recip.

If course this all depends on the traffic that particular LL generates. I'm happy to jump through hoops to keep the bigger sites happy. But for the LL's that just send a handful of hits, it's not worth the trouble.

With all that said, I'm happy with the traffic your site sends, and I wouldn't mind doing whatever it takes to keep gettng listed.

For an general Link List, that's too much - but it might be a good idea for a niche specific Link List :)

Yea...I was just wondering.....we don't wanna change anything....

But there has to be a point where finding the right category becomes too much of a pain......was sorta pondering what that breaking point would be...

Also I seem to find it more difficult to find the right category and recip when there are too many choices.

We've been splitting some of the bigger ones into soft & hardcore categories which can easily increase the amount of categories you have by 50% - so if you have 40 & split 20 (black, asian, mature, bbw, etc) into soft & hard, then you'd have 60 categories when you've finished, which makes sense to me if you have enough links to fill the categories.

But once you then start to split those into subs, you'll eventually have so many fucking categories that people would get very confused very quickly.

Hi, I also find it hard if there is to many categories to choose from. I'm afraid I'll pick the wrong one and my submit will just be deleted. But you and greenguys can have as many categories as you want, you send me lot's of traffic. Link list like yours are worth taking the extra time to find the right category |thumb

Has anyone ever tried to submit to Herculinks? They must have 3000 categories. I got the feeling after my first try that this wasn't your typical Link List and removed them from my recip tables.

I run SmutRat.com and I though I had many categories haha ;) The good thing about many categories is that you get very targetted traffic though, and that I hope the SE's will like it :) I can see that for certain keywords I'm getting good traffic from Google :D

Hey DonPaul, I've been adding you to my recip tables and submitting to you and just wanted to give you a heads up that when someone copies your recip codes there are extra
tags in between the table rows and columns. Not a huge deal to clean up, but a novice with html will have no idea why your recip is twice as tall as it should be.
