Update on CFPORN

Hi folks. :)

First off let me say that I'm getting caught up rather rapidly. If you have sites in the que (there are currently around 900) they should be taken care of very soon. Once that happens the site will be updated daily once again. Sorry for those of you who have been caught up by this.

For those of you who have been getting approved a lot lately I'm sorry for the spam. :)

Secondly there are new rules in place as of may 30th, if you are submitting to the link list you'll want to keep these in mind.

You can find those new rules here:
http://www.cfporn.com/webmasters.html

Specifically they read as such:

Quote:

Added May 30, 2005 - No sites implying underage status of models will be listed. This includes but is not limited to sites that target the 'borderline underage' target audience. If the models look too young or are marketed to be too young for porn then there is a chance it will not get listed. This is entirely up to the reviewers discression. If you are trying to make money from ambigious advertising of teen content, rather than assuring your models are above legal age, your sites are not welcome here.
added May 30, 2005 - No 'legal photos of underage models' sites. If the model is in fact under age but the photos are 'legal' they will not be listed. We do not give a SHIT of the legal ramifactions. We here at cfporn do not wish to look at underage models and do not wish to help other people find underage models. Do not submit these types of sites.
I have been recieving quite a few submissions that are selling ambiguity and some that are selling underage models in legal content.

These have never been listed at cfporn to my knowledge but I wanted to make sure those rules were up there.

I figure in this day and age its important to stress this kind of thing.

I would also like to encourage all link lists and TGP owners to add these rules and make this distinction. It is a proactive decision that can help make or break your case if you're ever in court over a 2257 error. Use your webmaster rules as a chance to flat out say "we do not abide by the kind of shit 2257 rules are there to remove."

:)

I look forward to hearing your feedback on this decision.

not sure why you are waiting until Monday . . . . would be effective immediately, if not retroactively if it were me

Boogie 2005-05-28 09:38 PM

Good point BD.

Changing the dates :)

making a difference . . . . good man

Thanks Boogie for the push to get this on my submit pages in black & white.

Boogie 2005-05-29 12:00 AM

Hey toby not entirely sure what you mean mate but I hope what you're saying is you're giving this a thumbs up. I think its a great idea and a preemptive step to making sure that webmasters know that kind of shit wont be tolerated at your place of business.

Lets the world know and any DOJ investigator too realize you're not interested in profiteering from that stuff :)

Toby 2005-05-29 12:12 AM

Oh yes, I most definitely give it two thumbs up. I've been meaning to add something like that to the rules on the submit pages of my TGP's, but hadn't gotten it done. Teen and Young were already on the banned word list, but nothing in black and white in the rules. After reading your post I decided to just go get it done. Thank-you for the push. :)

Boogie, I am certainly worried that we may see an increase in this type of material (especially non-nude) as webmasters attempt to get away from 2257 regulations. I have been very agressive about not listing "non-nude" sites, as there is no way to clearly determine the model's age.

Girl turns 18, she gets naked, I love her. 17.999 sorry no can do.

Alex

Sounds more than reasonable Boogie.

Pity the poor US based LL owners who have been taking borderline sites for a long time.. might feel like sitting on a time bomb for some people if they don't do a careful database cleanout.

Adding ya to my submit list :)

You're 9 weeks behind on submits?

Excellent point Boogie, I've been meaning to add something like that for a while but haven't gotten around to it. Thanks for the nudge. This has always been my policy but I never bothered to state it before.

Boogie 2005-05-29 11:57 AM

GG,

something like that ;)

docholly 2005-05-29 12:31 PM

|thumb on making it clear..

for the sites we review for and our own, if it says.. young boy with mature woman, mentions anything incestual, or even is a question of age *girl in pigtails with braces etc* it gets a delete.. for the extra 2 or 3 clicks, is it really worth the risk?

hopefully more tgp/ll owners will be following this route as well.

I gotta tell ya I've been doing this all along. I find it is especially troublesome in the gay twink area.
And I don't give a flying fuck who gets angry, if they look in any way at all too young, they get filed in the circular file called the delete bin on my pc.
Good call, Boogie.
