Can I get your feedback please!!
I am a new webmaster and would like any comments on my LL site. http://www.naughtienymphz.com
I would appreciate your feed back. Thanks |
Your LL looks good. Looks like it has all the basics, but as far as I can tell your script doesn't generate static pages, so you might find it hard getting descent PR with the SEs.
|
Thanks Lemmy!! This may sound stupid but whats a static page? Is that a hard html page??
|
I'm probably not the best person to explain this, but if I get it wrong I'm sure somebody will come along and set me straight.
A dynamic page (which is what I believe your script generates) is generated "on the fly" based on input from the surfer and you get URLs like this http://www.naughtienymphz.com/nnsexl...aycat&catid=35, there isn't actually a "physical" page there. A static page has an .htm, .html or .shtml extension and it's easier for the spiders to index them. Clear as mud? Probably not, but that's the gist of it. :) |
Actualy it was a big help! I can see where PR would benifit more from an .html page and your right spiders would respond better.Well now I got something else to work on.
Thanks for your help, Lemmy |
Rather than rewrite the engine behind your site, I suggest you do a little research on mod_rewrite for rewriting your urls -- without making any changes to the backend engine, you could probably make very plain looking urls. You would only need to determine a scheme to allow easy decoding. You would need to change your script slightly to output urls with the right format.
Something like: http://www.naughtienymphz.com/nnsexl...aycat&catid=27 could be remapped as: http://www.naughtienymphz.com/nnsexlinks/Amateur In your .htaccess: RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^Amateur /index.php?action=displaycat&catid=27 [L] I didn't look at pagination, but, you might have to do a little creative work there. Nice site, but maybe a bit wide. Fitted my monitor OK, but you may want to consider surfers with skinny monitors.
On the other hand you may not. |
Hey thanks cd34, I will work on that one. Did not think about that when I built the site.
Wankmaster ,I belive it is set up to resize dependant on monitor size. I have a large monitor on one comp and a small one on the other comp, and it show up fine. I have a friend that has an older monitor and will check it out on his this week. But I could be way off to, so I better check because I hate to scroll side to side. I Do not think surfers like it to much either. Thanks to both of you for your help! |
Naughtie,
The text to your logo comes up all "jaggie" on my monitor and is very unattractive. |
The site sure could use some fixing up, make it more professional looking or organized better. Good start though..:)
I know WSN links has a version that creates static html pages (search engine friendly pages), might want to look in to it. Pretty sure it's still cheap with the best version. ronnie |

Thanks to all that reveiwed my LL. I will use the info I have gotten from you to improve the site.

BigVikingAl I checked the logo on several monitors,I did not see what you were seeing. But I did notice a couple of things that might help, will be updating the logo soon. Certifiedbitch Thats for the reveiw! Thanks Naughtie |
