Pulling Galleries Because Of 2257? Post The Info Here
 

Most TGP's will NOT be blacklisting for 404's & 302's over the coming month or so with the 2257 thing - but it's always nice to let the people that are linking to you know before you pull the galleries.

So just to be on the safe side, if you're pulling your Galleries, post the domains here so that TGP owners can search & remove your listing before they go 404 or 302.

Do you have to pull the galleries, or can you just change the thumb images to something not hardcore? I would think if the thumbs are not hardcore, and as long as the gallery is hosted elsewhere you should be fine. You would just be linking to the gallery. Am I right with this line of thinking?

You can't swap hardcore images for softcore. That would really mess up categorized listings.

What I'm talking about is just the thumbnail image representing the gallery. Couldn't you just select and crop out another image from the same gallery that's not "explicit" ?

This is about submitters deleting their galleries, not TGP owners emptying there databases. You'll probably just see many thumb TGPs switch to text links. I doubt reviewers are going to go back through their submissions and re-crop the thumbs themselves.

I'd like to add something. If you are going wimp out and pull all of your galleries, use a standard 404 page or at least something simple. Don't redirect to your own TGP. I'm yanking links like crazy that are suddenly 404ing to other traffic sites. That's fucking bullshit. Some of you WILL get banned. If you aren't ever planning on building and submitting again, you won't care if you're blacklisted. That's pretty fucking evindent. Don't steal my traffic in the mean time you piss ants.

Ummmm I hate to sound stupid but I've been busy with non net things. What's the exact deal on the 2257 thing? I have a link on my newer galleries that leads to this.

I am removing shit load of galleries today due to sponsors request (galleries with their free content). I submit under the name "Sy" with email "sy|at|crazysy dot com.

404 pages are just a clean pages with a note that either the requested page never existed on the server or has been ramoved per request. I have a few categorized text links on the botoom of the page leading to some of my landing pages. No popups, no bullshit.


Sorry but I have no control over this :(

I'll be axing some pages today...most are pretty old and are deep within archives and stuff...I'll be doing a plain 404 with a brief 2257 statement.
