Ramster 2003-11-05 11:49 AM

Yea man, you like Theo Fleury's Little brother. LOL

gmoney 2003-11-05 11:56 AM

You're a regular Marty McSorley out there. Now all you need to do is per-fect the McSorley patented headbutt |knockout|

cockNballs 2003-11-05 12:27 PM

we got smoked every game too

no one told me canadiens can play hockey!!!!!!!

Krazytrain 2003-11-05 12:34 PM

We can?? |bananna|

cockNballs 2003-11-05 12:38 PM

well I know Saturdays game I can blame on still being drunk

left whatever club we ended up at a little after 3, walked back to our hotel drank a couple more then decided we wouldn't sleep at all before the game and we all walked to the Dunkin Donuts on St Cathterines

got back about 5:30 and our shuttle bus left at 6:15

we lost the game Saturday, but damn did we have a good Friday night |drunk| |cheers|

the rest of the games we just sucked

Krazytrain 2003-11-05 12:44 PM

Sounds like a good time Jim, we used to have a group of us that did the same traveled all over southern B.C. and Alberta playing in hockey tourneys and drinking all night, we won most of our games and even a few tourneys but our core group of guys have been playing soem good hockey together for 15 years all through minor hockey and junoir hockey as well.

cockNballs 2003-11-05 01:14 PM

there were a few teams like that actually

we're a beginners team, actually have some guys who have been on skates less than 1 year, so we knew we'd get beaten pretty badly, so we went out, had fun and got to play hockey, probably doing it again in April in Toronto.

A lot of the guys were cool too, tried not to run up the score, 1 team actually had 2 guys get in a fight because 1 was trying to run the score and the other didn't want him too, they both git unsprtsman like penalties and we scored and ended our shutout

BTW that made the score 18 - 1 |jester|

Krazytrain 2003-11-05 01:43 PM

Every team has a player or 2 that figures they are going to win the Hart trophy by running the score up well past were it needs to be. I think once your winning by 6 or 7 goals your pretty well safe from a comeback and glad there are players out there that think the same. Nice to see you didn't get shutout always makes it more enjoyable when you sneak one by their tender.

If you had fun and got drunk then it was a sucess win or lose.

Ramster 2003-11-05 02:01 PM

Canada does have a few hockey players. Times have changed but when I was a kid (30 years ago) EVERY kid started playing hockey at 4 or 5. Starting hockey was no different than starting school. Everyone did it. It was normal. Not like any other sport where kids decide, we all just played. LOL

Montreal has a few hockey players for sure. They even had a few decent pros come out of there you might have heard of like Mario Lemieux and Martin Brodeur. hehe

cockNballs 2003-11-05 02:11 PM

they sound vaguely familiar |jester|

I got to Meet Gilles Gilbert who played withthe Bruins in the 70's, he helps run the tournament, he came over to meet us because we were from Boston and some of the guys on our team didn't know who he was or probably remember, he backed up Gerry CHeevers here

Dr Bizzaro 2003-11-05 05:47 PM

This must be one of these "everyone gets to skate" games.

10 seconds left to play.
Top 10 players suffering savere injuries.
Leading the other team by 5 goals.

The look little Jim's face when the coach screams "Cock and Balls, hit the ice!"........priceless.

P.S. You still suck at bowling.

Greenguy 2003-11-05 06:10 PM

DrB & CnB - speaking of bowling, I did forget to mention that they came to fix the game & had to give me a new CPU, so all the high scores are gone :(

You must be. For those that don't know, Theo Fleury is one of the smallest guys in hockey at about 5'8".

Hey Jim, meeting that guy is cool as hell since you're from the Boston area.

cockNballs 2003-11-06 09:15 AM

Theo Fleury towers over me :)

Hey Dr. B what high score |nahnah||nahnah|
