Newbie and 2257 question
 

Hi all,

I am a total noob in the adult biz and as such I will probably have a lot of "dummy" questions, so don't shoot me.... yet :)

I have been reading a lot on this board before joining, and I consider it to be one of the most helpfull adult boards out there.

My first question regards 2257. Do all LL ( and I guess TGP etc ) require a 2257 statement on a free site/gallery or does it vary from LL to LL? Not that I try avoiding having such a statement, in most cases it will be the primary producer statement on my site and/or the sponsor's.
I am asking cus I was looking around some galleries on the big LLs and some of them had a 2257 and others didn't.

Some LLs/TGPs require it, for what reason I do not know since it's none of their business. Come June 23rd you will need to be in compliance if the regs take effect or risk a visit from the men in black.

Thanx Lemmy, that was my first guess, that some LLs require it although I agree with you, that there is no obvious requirement for them do so. But it's their LL it's their rules :)

I am ok with June 23 as I live in Europe.
