Greenguy's Board - 2 TGP Gallery Questions

15 pics will meet the minimum at 99% of TGP sites. I use 15 or 16, depending on how many I have available and the page layout I'm using.

Some sites give you as few as 6 outgoing links, most allow 8 to 10 or more. Recips do count as an outgoing link, so 3 recips and 3 links to sponsor and your done if they only allow 6 and you'd better not have any recips with 2 links in them. Most of my galleries have 4 recips, 3 links to sponsor, and a discrete link at the very bottom back to my own "hub". That's 8 and I rarely have to tweek anything to get past the submit scripts.

My own TGP allow 12 links. I want to leave a little room for those that screw up the coding when adding a line of text over a banner an make it two links instead of just one, and for those that want to include a 2257 link at the bottom of the page, although I don't require it. The number of links isn't a big deal to me, as long as the gallery looks nice and isn't a banner farm of sponsor links. If I were getting a ton of submits everyday I'd probably be singing a little different song.
