Half Page Ads in free sites

What are Link List Owners views on putting Half Page Ads on free site pages?

I cannot speak for others, however, for ours, I don't mind it as long as your site still offers the two galleries and that the surfer knows they are there. What it comes down to is that as long as a site conforms to our terms of submission, plus, the site is functional with no errors, and at least looks ok, there's no problems. :)

I have no problems with HPAs, but some sponsors have HPAs that are more like FPAs that are trimmed down a little. I personally consider 600x400 to be about the max acceptable size for a HPA, but it also relies on the design. I've seen so-called HPAs in sponsor affilate arease that are 700x800, and those are just right out because they fall squarely into the realm of FPA when you're looking at them. If the gallery links are above the HPA I'll bet most won't have a big issue but wait for more responses. If the gallery links are below the HPA I'd steer clear of anything bigger than 600x400

I have no problem with them as long as they don't have anything that looks like clickable thumbs that are linked.

I don't allow advertising of any kind, be it through text or banners.

Ok, I'm in agreement with MadMax and Cleo.
