Yeah - they posted last week that they were removing a lot of the sites.

Hey guys..

we are still in the works of trying to salvage as many sites as possible due to the new 2257 regs... as you know.. many contnet providers are MIA.. and many are still "promising" to deliver.. but have yet to do so... we updated some of the redirects here at www.siccash.com (new and events) and our reperatoire of sites will continue to change as we score 2257 docs... and get new replacement images for tours and ad materials... some tours are just being redirected until we can get the images swapped out with compliant content... and some tours are being redirected indefinetly... we apologize for this inconvenience..

Well , I hope you can fix your problems .
I'll remove your links for now

Thanks for the update

Would have been nice to get an email about this. I didn't see one in my email box. :(

Seems to be standard procedure, not to mail webmasters about news like this, sucks if you ask me. I did'nt get any e-mail either, just now hearing aobut this. Most of us dont have to time to check every sponsor for changes.

Very few sponsors take the time to keep webmasters informed..:(

Yeah - I was checking today and theyve added a bunch more to the forwarding - all the niche sites are in there now

LB 2005-06-29 07:47 PM

So they just redirect traffic without even notifying webmasters ???
At least ARS had the decency to warn and notify webmasters when they took down their original sites.

Why is it common practice?

Linkster 2005-06-29 08:34 PM

They did send out an email and posted on the boards they would be doing this - actually they are one of the only ones that did warn people

ronnie 2005-06-29 09:42 PM

This realy sucks.. well been looking to drop them for a while anyways. Sure dont know why some webmasters got e-mails from ARS when their shit went down, I and several others never got a notice.

Thanks alot siccash
