Linklist script options?
 

besides links 2.0 as i cant seem to get it installed correctly and to stubborn to hire someone to do it LOL

i own autogallery sql already on a domain..are there any linklists that use this script for linklists?

happysock.com does from what im told..
links 2.0 is pretty easy though bit of work what probs do you have ?

alot of different errors and the admin.cgi wont open from browser..still playing with it and double checking permissions etc but everything seems right so far..of course im sure there is something im missing LOL

sounds like a path to cgi error ...
in the links.cfg file

also make sure all cgi files are 755 ...

does the add.cgi show up ?...
if that does then the path to pearl sounds right...

A lot of errors are caused by not uploading in ascii mode.. Use your dos ftp to upload. don't trust windows ftp programs auto mode. i have fixed many a copy of links 2.0 for people this way. if that does not work, feel free to contact me

Error including libraries: Can't locate on add.cgi

ill keep playing with it lol was more interested in other viable options :) but links seems to be what most folks use short of custom

If you still want to do it ask your host what the ....

PATH and URL of Admin CGI directory

AND

PATH and URL of Pages to be built

If you get that right from them its a very easy thing to install ...
add them in the links.cfg file
on
line 22 and 29 ...save upload and chomd to 755
