Kick Ass Movie!
 

I rented "The Machinist". Wow this is a well thought out film. If you like thrillers this is a great film. It stars Christian Bale who is just proving to be one of the best young actors around. He even lost 63 pounds for the role, which is pretty amazing.

what's that film about?

It's about a guy who hasn't been able to sleep for over a year. His mind starts playing tricks on him, but he can't tell the difference between reality and fantasy. There's a short summary about it on that IMDB page if you want some more info, I don't want to give too much away.

Bale just finished doing this film when he was casted as Batman. I'm going to watch it this weekend.

Hey Gunny... yeah.. excellent film. It very nearly didnt get made tho.. Bale apparently had to persuade a hell of a lot of important people to get this film even past the storyboard. Everyone thought it was gonna be a dud.

I've seen it and I am pretty impressed with Christian Bale's acting on that film.

I'm not sure how well the film did but it's one of those gems you find every now and then.
