Auto subbing with Chameleon submitter
 

So I purchased a months worth of CS earlier and am going through it now trying to see what's what.

First thing I see is a couple people I know on the list, and that gets me worried straightaway - Tommys, Cleos TGP, Whoring Wives are the ones that I noted.

What's the deal here? Is this program gonna fuck me up and have me down as an autosubmitter where auto submits aren't allowed? How come those sites are in there if they don't accept auto submits?

Advice and/or pointers from anyone who uses this, and TGP owners very much welcomed :)

Whoring Wives belongs on there. I had them add me to their database a while back when I started taking submissions again. I doubt you'd be able to auto-sub to me now though. I've modified the script quite a bit since then. ;)

That's my point, I don't want to be auto subbing where I shouldn't be :) I'm very green about the whole auto-sub thing, although I'm led to believe it's pretty common in the TGP world. I can't get the damn thing to get past step 4 or 5 anyway lol.

Interesting - just bought this to a webmaster who wanted to promote our sites, but though he claims to submit a lot he doesn't send much traffic. No point in paying 29.95/md if the datebase is crap!

Anyone using this with success?

Yes, gallerysubmitter is great and we're already using it, but this webmaster asked specific for chameleon, so I thought it might be worth trying it.

NJ; I've had a lot of success with CS but then I keep changing my DB regularly for the sites that send me traffic and for my partner accounts. If you're just gonna auto submit, it will get you banned on a lot of places. I usually go for 150-160 (depending on niche) manuals and 300 odd on autosubmit. Without the major TGP/MGPs, that adds to 30-40k per gallery.

cellinis, thanks a lot - I will pass this on. It's a couple of newbies we bought the script for, but isn't it just like that - there are no shortcuts and autosubmitting has also been a very bad way for a newbie to start out. More likely to get them blacklisted than getting them sales.

Exactly, therefore most successful submitters use a manual submission tool like Advancedsubmitter or Dreamsubmitter |cool|

Those autosubmit programs have the bad habbit of putting every TGP they can find in their DB just so they can impress their buyers with the large number of TGP's the have in their DB.

I've had no problems autosubmitting to Tommy & other big and small sites through Chameleon so most of the sites that by default are on auto will not ban you and gladly accept your submission!

And Fonz I can only agree with you - I have run thorugh my Chameleon database to weed out the fake TGP's and redirecting TGP's in there and my database now holds 1881 sites - and there are probably a lot more in there that won't ever list me! Do yourself a favor and customize your DB, I have picked up some very nice partner accounts doing it + you will spend less time (and server space!) submitting to sites that won't ever list you :)
