Happy Gay Wedding Saturday

We are up early. My wife tells me it will take several hours to get ready to be the maid of honor at this wedding. I am supposed to help out the groom :)

So, have a nice day...I will try to take pictures.

Good morning - up at the regular time 4:00 am here - coffee ready

Cleo 2005-07-09 07:01 AM

Good Stormy Morning. :)

Damn generators make a lot of noise but damn I am glad I got it as I sit here being the only house as far as a I can see with lights.

Not sure what I am doing today. If the power doesn't come back on I may just stay home and continue to clean up my LL. I'm about half way done now and hoping to be done within a week.

Off to nuke some hot water so that I can make pressed coffee…

Doesn't that make you feel kinda special? I love it when the power goes out & everyone else on the street is sitting in the dark while we sit there watching a DVD on the 48" plasma :D

Good Saturday Peoples |waves|

I'll be driving to Syracuse to pick my step-daughter up from Field Hockey Camp in about an hour or so & ten hopefully play a little poker tonight down at the Pool House :)

Have a good one :)

Now we're talking :D
I just broke my press coffee pot this morning. Damn, can't have other people doing my dishes!

Have a good Saturday everyone :)

Cleo 2005-07-09 08:34 AM

I like pressed coffee but for me it is more of an after dinner type coffee.

I didn't bring my gas grill into my patio otherwise I would have used it to make espresso but didn't want espresso badly enough to go out in the rain and wheel it into the patio.

I probably should get one of these before the next hurricane.

or this over priced fancy one that you still have to nuke water for

MrMaryLou 2005-07-09 09:41 AM

Good morning all :) Got Coffee?

Ramster 2005-07-09 10:16 AM

Good Morning. Not much going on today. More coffee though I think is needed.

Useless 2005-07-09 10:45 AM

Gay Morning all. I'm just sitting here waiting for my sales to increase as more and more Floridian webmasters are put into the dark.

I've been awake for a solid hour, but I'm just now feeling alive. Thank the coffee gods. Banners, sponsors, and BDSM are on today's menu.

Nothing like taking most of a day off, we sat in the pool and got a good burn all over |sun and then made some kick ass BBQ Chicken and smoked out all night. |potleaf|

Why is it when you make a lot of chicken, it tastes ok/good, but when you only make a few pieces it's to kill for and you have to have more but there is no more? |dizzy|

No major plans, just editing video and pictures and waiting on the new cat5e lines we ordered last night so I can once more go into my attic and try and kill myself to get these damn housecamz up and running. Every time I try and do things the “right way” I end up almost getting killed. |cry|

:D

mornin' y'all,

A bit cooler here this AM, although that probably won't last long, forecast is for mid 90's again.

UW, I hate to toss a monkey wrench into your plans for world domination, but what about all those Floridian porn surfers that are also without power?

Torn, that's why you have kids, so you can send them into the attic. At least that's what my Dad always told me as I was climbing up the ladder.

Son of a... |angry|

Perhaps I should have thought that through. There goes my two month vacation in the tropics.

Good windy morning all! When I got up this morning it was great outside!! Windy as hell but it actually felt like a cold front! I got to enjoy my tea and smokes in the screen room without sweating to death.

Cleo I agree generators make my ears go nuts. But I wouldn't want to be without one either. I don't think we'll have to hook ours up though. Looks like the storm isn't going to do much here.

Have a nice weekend everyone!

docholly 2005-07-09 12:04 PM

swedguy 2005-07-09 12:10 PM

mmmm Tequila....dangerous liquid :D

I just realised that I'm having my 5-years anniversary today. Slinging smut for 5 whole years, DAMN! It feels like yesterday :)

I tested the generator last night with 16000 BTU of cooling power -- ugh. The 10000 btu window unit used 2250 watts based on the meter on the panel and the ammeter. The 5200btu unit used almost 7000 to start, 3500 to run. So, I'll be returning it today and replacing it with another 10000btu unit. Seems dumb, but, the small unit didn't have a scroll compressor and the large one that cools more room is not only more efficient, but, has a scroll compressor and uses less power. I find it amazing that for $200 you can buy a SEER 9.7/10000 btu window unit that uses less power than a $134 SEER 9.2/5200 btu unit.

I think the neighbors looked at me a little strangely as I was testing the generator last night with the A/C units, but, thank goodness I tested beforehand rather than waiting for an event.

A little windy up here today but the sun is peeking through. Stupid LNB on the satellite dish decided to go bad. Not sure if I feel like going on the roof today to replace it. Also need to crawl up in the attic and find a cat5 cable that has one end coming out near the TV and the other end mysteriously never appears in the closet. Windy day, some sun, attic fan isn't on yet, so, its got to be below 90F up there. Then my wife can stop tripping over the cable that my nephew has run to his XBox from the office to the living room.

And a little coding thrown in. :)

juggernaut 2005-07-09 01:13 PM

Good Morning all. LOL its not longer morning but I just woke up so it feels like it. And yes I have coffee too, the great regularlator. Oh UW did you know your servers down? Just f-ing with ya.

Cleo 2005-07-09 01:17 PM

Went for a bike ride around my neighborhood. Looks like no one has power and as far as I could tell no one but me seem to have a generator.

I just setup my A/C in my office :D

I got fixed 5 years ago, so is there a store I can buy one or 2 and then return them after I'm done?

Cleo 2005-07-09 03:07 PM

I grew up in my parent's A/C and refrigeration contracting business. I know all about getting sent up in attics. I start itching and sweating just thinking about the horror that was my childhood.

wildgirl 2005-07-09 03:34 PM

Hello everyone, hope you had a great day :)

MorganGrayson 2005-07-09 06:59 PM

Hello, everyone! Hope you all had a great day! |waves|

In California, one can get a three day license to perform a wedding for a specific couple. My husband was given the honor of performing the ceremony of his office mate and his bride. The whole thing made me quite weepy. :)
