Is my blog acceptable for link lists?

Hey all --I have recently set up a blog (www.lesbian-fantasies.net) that is a combination of a number of things:

a. links to other sites
b. links to sponsor hosted galleries
c. galleries that I have created on the site myself

I am being *extremely* careful about adhereing to the 'no consoles, no dialers, no pop-ups' philosophy.

My question is this: is what I have good enough to get listed in the major (and not so major) link lists?

I submitted one of my galleries to RR today and was told that there was too much other stuff on the gallery page. Ironically, my sponsor hosted gallery got accepted without a hitch.

Any help and advice (and any reciprocal link offers) would be most appreciated.

Cheers,

xxdivaxx

Well from what I see it's more of a text link TGP than a blog. A blog is usually stories or tales of someone life or news about a specific event.

Gnus,

I realize what a blog *traditionally* is, but I also found it to be an excellent means of content management. Besides, I have seen a number of sex blogs that are going the more links / galleries route.

Then I would suggest maybe adding stories about the galleries which would probably help in gaining SE traffic. Basically post a gallery link with a long description or a story about that gallery. Plus this would probably spark the interests of your surfer to actually view the gallery and possibly a sale for that gallery.

Thanks Gary -

I'll give that a try!

I'd say the same as Gnus did.....if you were to submit it with us, I would probably move it to an actual site niche category instead of the blog one...but if you did add some stories or something, then the blog category for sure. Nicely done style though...not the basic template associated with blog sources....

I agree, sure could use a lot more text, lots more. I think it looks great, I'd list it if it had more "talk"..:)

Yes, many people are doing TGP type blogs and they can get some traffic, just remember what kind of traffic it is. Not exactly boat loads of buyers.

Cynthia, I agree with others that usually blog contains much more text and it's good for SEO. But I saw also a lot of TGP type blogs like this one: http://females.erolog.nl/ that listed in Bloggernity.
I'd list your blog in my LL, because I know that TGP type blog has many advantages in SEO comparing to a freesite or TGP if it uses blog promotion methods: RSS feed promotion, pinging XML RPC servers, linking with other blogs and blog directories. In other words, blog for me is rather not a content, but a technical part. Though I'm think that some blog directories like Blogarama will not list it, because they are have more strict requirements to blog's content.

Personally, I wouldn't list the site in my Blogs category because it isn't a blog. It's more like a links list created with blogging software. I don't care what kind of software people use to create their sites, only the end result.
