Rejecting for bad thumbs?
I decided to make up a new rejection email for submitters who select a thumb to represent the gallery that contains nudity or sexual content. Is this wrong? I'm trying to make my TGP pages 2257 compliant without switching to text links.
I was editing thumbs for quite a bit but I got tired of selecting a new '2257 Friendly' thumb for almost every gallery submitted. What are your thoughts on this? |
Thumbs can have nudity and still be 2257 compliant, but they cannot be sexually explicit as defined in 18 U.S. 2256 section 2, excluding subsection E and simulated.
I have a similar policy on my TGP that thumbs may not be sexually explicit. I have to "fix" about one in five, but hardcore content isn't all that prevalent in the high heels or boots catagories. |
Oh ok. I thought if there was any nudity at all on your site you had to have records and crap. That sounds much easier to deal with for me!
Thanks, Bill |
As far as I understand it nude tits are just fine, close-up snatch isn't, and girl licking a dildo isn't either, but I don't know about a dildo caressing a hard nipple...
Anyhow: at this stage I don't care! So many sites I'm either competing with, or trading traffic with, who're still showing full-on penetration in their thumbnails - why should I be the first to censor my own pages (particularly since I'm not an US citizen). As I have stated before: I believe this will blow over, too! I have seen so many restrictions come and go, and so many people panicking about it (just to revert to the old ways some weeks down the track). |peace| |
Ok screw it then - I vow from this moment on not to reject for what may seem to be a naughty thumb, according to the new 2257 bullshit!
Thanks! Bill |
