Where do you store your login/passwords?
Hi!
I use a Rolodex for all my sponsor, board, whatever, ..... login/passes. Is there a useful program outside for this? I know storing passwords on your hd is big security issue, but I'd like to use a small program for this. Any suggestions? sun |
I'm the only one that can log into the account on my computer so I don't worry about having stuff show as plain text. I put my Username/PW right in the name of the bookmark.
Actually Mozilla remembers about 95% of my login stuff so I rarely need to look it up. Same goes for all of my FTP and Telnet stuff. If I have friends over using my computer I log them into another account so that they don't have access to any of my stuff. |
Hardback notebook (on paper).

Brain first,
and then Hardbook/Paper, and I dont let "WinBlows" handle ANY of them! DD |
Hard Copy here too. :) Started way back when I first needed to keep ID's and PW's, and it's locked away for safety in a fireproof lock box.

You mean you supposed to save that stuff |jester|

It may not be real smart/safe but I have a page on my hardrive with my account links and 'modified' passwords. I at one time used to keep these in my bookmarks like cleo.
I also keep multiple back up copies of both the page and old bookmarks. |
Its a small program that you can use for passwords, usernames and submitting sites.

I am primitive! I keep them in a log book and if I ever forget any of them, I just refer to it. :)
