Hosting that can handle Hun traffic
 

I've got a couple galleries going up on the Hun in about a week or so and my current host can't handle that type of traffic. The rest of the time I only use about 3 gigs daily. I'm looking for something cheap and flexible that can work with the flucuation of my traffic, as I burn little BW most of the month but get periodic Hun listings and such. Suggestions appreciated!

Where the hell is Cleo when she's needed?

Cleo has galleries on the Hun all the time and he can't hurt her. She uses Colo-cation which is owned by cd34 aka Sparky. I host there too, but I'm a bad example. ;)

colo-cation.com is the place to be. That's where I am and I don't have one complaint. The thing is service... Now, many are quick when you have a problem but Sparky has a program that looks at all the servers every 2 mins looking for potential problems. So, he finds them before they become problems.

I really can't say enough about sparky's hosting.

ALL OF THEM! Just upgrade your package. I don't know a host that cannot handle 10 mbs of traffic coming in. My last hun gallery hit a peak of 14mbs I believe.

Or is your current host too expensive when upgrading? If so I use phatservers. They are great. colo-cation.com is great too.

That's not exactly true, Ramster, if you have never had a problem with a virtual host/shared server, you've been lucky. It's not the rate per second I was worried about either, it's the overall bandwidth consumption; lots of hosts shut your site down after 10 gigs or so because it slows everyone else on the server down.

You can't do better then Colo-cation. :)

Faster the server the faster you can move traffic through it.

Since moving to Colo-cation my stuff is faster then shit exploding from a dwarf's ass that Angel has rammed her 9" tube steak into.

I use fastservers.net have not found many that are providing the line of BW and the cost they are charging. Never had issues with them at all. In fact its nice to call a place at 3am and the guy on the phone walks in the room and works on the issue with you on the phone. I get 900 gigs on outbound only along with all my other stuff on 100Mbps. I own a cam site for BW was a major concern for me with the provider. They also have server auctions about once a month where as if you have a server with them you can purchase other peoples boxes that they are no longer using and the boxes in the auction are not shit. I'm paying $225 a month for mine but have seen the whole package go on auction for $100 a month.
I like cd34, I'm just trying to show you options here.
