Discovery
We just got back inside, we walked a block or 2 to get a better view of the shuttle launch, had actually a pretty good view, but for some reason I never thought of taking a camera, but I did have my phone with me, so I snapped a few pics, not sure how good they will come out.

No, no house shaking here, we are 40 miles south of NASA. We heard "thunder" briefly, but it depends on the way the wind blows on how loud it would be this far. Had we gone to the beach we would have heard more.
Last year we saw a few night launches on the beach and it was incredible, fair superior to the day launches. |
