I got my truck back with a guaranteed not to leak rhino lined oil pan, new mud flaps and a diamond plate tail gate top. All for only $180 :) A lot better than giving Ford 1200 for them to replace the pan :)

Morning All. Up all night as usual and nowhere near sleep. And I'm cranky. Have a buttload of content that I'm sorting through, renaming, compressing, and putting in neat little folders of 20-30 pics each. (You'll never guess what I'm going to do with them :D )

Starting to cool off a little here, which is good because there's a leak in my A/C. Another one - thought it was fixed 6 months ago. There's already a new water stain on the newly replaced sheetrock on the ceiling. Oh well, only 2-3 more months of mind-numbing heat anyway |cry|

Morning… I think. :)

No hovering planes this morning but I slept like crap anyway for some odd reason. The electric company put notices on all of our doors where I live letting us know that we will have no electric on the 4th for part of the day. Actually my neighbors won't but I will. How did I ever live without a generator all these years? :D

Went to Angel's house last night and learned how to use the new video camera, Sony HDR-FX1. I guess we should shoot everything at HDV 1080i so that we have hi-rez video on tapes if we every need it for something later. I was going to actually shoot some content with it but it didn't look like shooting was going to start before one in the morning and my old ass turns into a pumpkin around midnight.

Doing the gym thing today and then back home to work.

Espresso and cottage cheese with fruit is now being served.

Yesterday, I finally hooked up the iPod I won from ARS about 18 months ago. It's gonna take me a week to get all my CD's onto here, but it looks like I'm gonna like this little sucker :)

Speaking of Fruit using people… I don't do computer consulting anymore but that doesn't seem to stop some of my old clients for calling me at 8:10 in the fucking morning and waking me up like they did today.

I love getting up for an appointment with the vet and going in and waiting 30 minutes only to be surprised with being told he has to have more test and shots then what was told to me on the phone.

All this crap over a haircut.

All we wanted was to get his hair cut into a "lions cut" and since he is so high strung they would have to put him to sleep and then do the cut, total $100 or so. After making the appointment and answering their questions such as age ect we take him in and they then tell us since he is over 10 years old they have to run more test and crap on him so now the cost is $200.

Ha... we walked out. The $ isn’t the issue, the issue is being told one thing on the phone and another once we are there. Besides neither of us believes he needs all these test/shots since he is over 10 and in a protected environment, we had a cat who died of old age at 18 and currently have a 17 and a 12 year old as well as him, and none of them have had anywhere near the test and shots these people wanted to do to him that they couldn’t tell us on the phone about.

So we just wasted an hour and stressed our cat out for no reason.

Cleo – we also got a notice that our power will be off for an hour I think tomorrow for them to do maintenance, never had that before, must be a Florida thing.

Morning! I slept great got me 6 hours!!! My grandson woke up on the wrong side of the bed though. You know my husband and I love him to death he's our world. But have to tell ya at our age sometimes its not easy dealing with a 2 year old every day.... |dizzy| Today will be a day that I lock the door to my office and play my stereo really loud. His mom can deal with him! Have a good one all!

First time I ever got a notice like this was a few months ago about a week before my generator had arrived. I guess it is to trim the trees that have grown into the power lines all over the place. Personally I think they should just assess all of us whatever it would cost to move all the power lines underground and be done with it.

I scheduled an early appt because I hate things that interrupt the middle of my day. As you might imagine, last night of course ended up being very busy, so, I ended up with less than my normal amount of sleep. I'm not really tired, but, I bet in 18 hours I will be.

I got to bed at a decent enough hour last night, but I was woken up early this morning. . .

I got into a car accident yesterday, and while no one was harmed, my car was pretty dented up, and the other car got away with a cracked tail light. The woman insisted we exchange insurance information, because she said she wasn't paying to get her tail light fixed. |angry|

She must've gotten some sense talked into her when she got home, because this morning she was at my door, saying she's changed her mind after speaking with her husband, and if I would just replace said tail light (It's really just the cover that's cracked, but apparently, you can't buy just the cover, you have to get the whole light assembly. It's only around $30 though, I'm getting off light) that we wouldn't have to go through insurance.

It's a good thing I have a beat up old car with other dents in it, otherwise I'd be pretty upset about the new dent. Oh well. |huh

I think Torn would look great in a lions cut and he did say that he is already fixed so he should make a fine pet that his owner will be proud of.
