Vacation photos

I had some vacation shots i wanted to share with you folks now that i'm back.

My vacations are often very simple. driving a bit across the country, stopping to eat at new and interesting resturants, visiting family and taking in the sights. :)

so here are some interesting photos with commentary from that vacation:

That sounds like fun Boodie. Where did you go? You ever read Calvin Trillian's book of essays called The Tummy Trilogy? It's about Calvin eating at all these great places in the US who serve great downhome as opposed to 'chef' style food.

Nice Boogie - and beautiful part of Virginia - Ive always loved hiking up near there and north of it - the backpacking is so serene and full of fantastic discoveries :)

glad to share!

it was parts of Virginia and Tennessee, various parts. Warriors Path State Park was in there, Big Stone Gap Virginia, Powell Valley, and Pound Virgina.

Its incredible country, I grew up in it and didnt appreciate it much then. easier to appreciate now with my wisdom from old age! I turned 31 on that trip :((
