Intersting SEO Article
An interesting article on SEO. Contradicts a lot of things I've read other places.
Google's Good Writing Content Filter [link fixed - DD] |
Trust me...I wasn't implying it did.

I don't get an article clicking that link, I get an advertising page for some guys copywritying service.
"...with the help of assistants, and a revolutionary, more efficient and effective, creative process, UpMarket Content lets me offer leading-edge website content development to small-medium-sized businesses as well as those who serve them:" |
me too
"Hi, I'm website content writer, Joel Walsh.." good for Joel:) |
I'll see if I can find another link

Very interesting but a few things my webmasters disagree with, like Javascript. They said Google does not like it.
The new paysite tour will have lots of text, so hopefully we can get more SE traffic. |
Well, well, well.
A pro-writer "analyses" 25 top google results and reaches the conclusion that pro-writing is the major factor in achieving those results...... I am beyond surprised at this completely unforeseen development. |

ive never had luck with google in rankings lol
now yahoo..msn askjeeves.. i can hit top 10 in a few.. but google F$@*@#$....only time will tell..sandbox ya until the end of time lol..*sighs |
i believe in the spelling theory. google seems set up well enough to handle spell checking each page. grammar and spelling are a nice easy way to spot professionalism, though of course, not perfect. ive read there are a lot of great authors who wouldnt be readable if it weren't for their editors. :)

Paul - youre WMs dont know what theyre talking about :) javascript is no problem for Google - hasnt been for two years - but Im sure they tell you that frames are no good too :)
I can show you top 25 listings that are nothing but script generated BS misspelled, no grammer, and no context text that works just fine - people just try to outguess things that are already facts but need something to blame their failures on. That said - having properly formatted/validated pages does make a difference - but then there is just one more thing that we've always said here. |
DSS - there's no such thing as a sandbox on Google except for thier tool that they use in AdWords
