Does your business create thumbnails?
 

I need about 10,000 thumbnails created and while most of them will be in one size some will be in another. I need the images hand cropped for the thumbs. If I wanted the full size images resized it would have been done yesterday.

You might want to try Panky...I'm pretty sure she does Image Cropping / Thumbnails...does nice ones too judging from her galleries :)

Moby if they are all the same size do it in photoshop with a recorded action. Or is that not possible? What I used to do is seperate my photos for cropping in a certain way so that I could batch them in groups. Some would get fucked up, but 90% of the time it got them ok. Could save you some money. Then again I have time on my hands if you want some help.

If you think there's any possible chance at all
that it would be possible to write rules for how
they should be cropped I could probably program it
pretty quickly. For example, I could easily create thumbs
based on this part of the image, where the "o"s
are part of the thumb
with the "x"s cropped out:
