MrYum 2005-08-05 01:47 AM

Yikes!

That's a 'return to sender' if ever I've seen one! |shocking|

Surfn 2005-08-05 04:38 AM

I've never seen mail in that condition delivered to the addressee before |shocking|

juggernaut 2005-08-05 06:42 AM

Is this real? I mean I dont think the US Mail system would bother telling you it was a fatal accident on a printed statment like that. I think they would send you some offical letter about the damaged package, but nothing on a paper that looks like it just came out of the guys printer who just happens to have it sitting on a keyboard. Then wow you get a package with the edges so neetly burned. I would think in a vehicle accident that the whole thing would be burnt. Not just the edges. I don't know if the new story is from a legit site? I mean that mail pic could be from anyplace. I only watch the big 3 for most of my news anyway.

Is the name os the sponsor Crispy Cash by any chance? |couch|

Dr Bizzaro 2005-08-05 08:18 AM

Perhaps that's just their way of getting you to receive the statement online, like the envelope says....

Cleo 2005-08-05 08:22 AM

Wow that is pretty fucking bizarre

terry 2005-08-05 08:25 AM

Damn, the driver died too. At least they are still delivering what they can salvage from the fire.

sue-fl 2005-08-05 12:13 PM

Wow that is way to creepy to me!! Never heard of a notice like that with a letter. I'd think I throw in the trash at someone elses house.... |shocking|

Boogie 2005-08-05 04:10 PM

Look for anyone who doubts the validiyt it was definately to my roomate it definately had that note, and that's edefinately how it arrived.

trust me, i wouldnt lie about something like this.

juggernaut 2005-08-05 04:50 PM

Boog I'm not saying you lied. I thought you might have gotten that from a fake site that tries to look real. If thats real then thats just fucked up.

Boogie 2005-08-05 10:24 PM

aye juggernaut its as real as it gets i'm looking at the thing laying on that desk right now, i shot the pic, it came in my mail.

so surreal. :(

ponygirl 2005-08-05 11:41 PM

I've heard of this before - I read a lot of true crime hehe - unless it is totally obliterated, it has to be delivered, whether it's blood, burns or fingerprint powder.

yuch :(

They'd have to do something to explain why the mail looks like that, they've got a legal obligation to deliver it, and a little piece of paper is a hell of a lot cheaper than printing a bunch of letters :)
