I have a couple sponsors that pay out via wire transfer, but I get charged $25 per transfer, plus anoth $12 by my bank each time.

They also payout via fethard or webmoney. Does anyone have any opinions with these companies?

Here's what I've found:

Webmoney: WM fee:Commercial Bank (USD) 1-2 Business Days 0.8%, no more than $50

Agency fee: WMZ 0.3% (no less than 50 USD and no more than 200USD)

Fethard: I can't find what they charge for a transfer to your US bank account, but they do charge $4.95/mo fee.

I use Fethard for 2 sponsors. It's pretty useless to me really except that I can buy content from other users who cannot use other payment methods due to their geographic locations. So, if you have a way to use the moneies inside the fethard account I would recommend it. Fethard to Fethard money transfers are free, and I don't recall any monthly fees. Their methods for authenticating tranfers is a bit strange(goes to show some old Soviet paranoia still exsists), but once you get it down, you shouldn't have any problems. Their online support also speaks english and has been able to help me in the past with an issue in a timely manner.

Good to know I CAN actually use it to buy a few things.

What is the fee Fethard charges to transfer the money to my US bank account? And how long do they usually take to transfer the money?

Pony, not sure. I never setup my account with my bank.

they have it on their site and u can forward the question to their suppot team (tickets, icq etc). They are ok.

I just got an email back from Fethard. They say it will cost $60 to transfer money from my fethard account to a US Bank!

Sometimes Fethard is OK for online payments, but I don't recommend that you use it for bank wires.

I agree, $60 for a wire transfer is way too much, plus the bank will also charge for the transfer.
