most remember my fallout with *** CASH and a sponsor closed my account after I took there links down for excessive consoles, so I didnt know about it for many months later(I should have changed codes) So anyway I started to get search strings with the sponsors pay site that I pulled.. So I go to put there links back up and my account was closed, because of a email those cocksuckers sent out to probably a shit load of sponsors... so I explained what happened and had then come here a read that whole big thread and they happily reopen my account... But now what makes me wonder I have some sponsors that I yet to have a sale with THIS year.. And I am thinking they turned my sales off instead of closing it... So How do I approach this ?? email them and ask "hey are my sales turned off" or its just bad luck on my part, and its funny that I had sales before this problem with *** cash

And who would admitt that we turned off your sales because were not sure of you.. so we will take your traffic and not show you sales...

Now I know for a fact that most sponsors can turn off sales.. and I made friends with a sponsor and he told me that most all those programs have a option for turning off sales... So in the world of being a webmaster my advise is to get to know or interact with them and build trust.. I think I will just email or ICQ all my sponsors that I feel this way about..

Well I suppose one thing you can do is login to those accounts and see what your ratios are. If you notice them being extremely high you can contact the sponsor and ask for some advice. I know I have had sponsors tell me they'd be more than happy to look over my galleries and give me any pointers. Using this tactic will allow you to approach them without having to bring up the subject and finding out what it is you want to know.

yeah thats what I was thinking one is like 0/3k and another few is 0/4k and thats with LL traffic.. and I been looking at the ratios for a few months now.. and when I see other sponsors converting at a certain ratio and others converting at a more reasonable ratio, and when this sponsor told me that they closed my shit because of a alert from them, I gotta wonder.. And those same sponsors converted before the blow out with them..just maybe bad luck, but who wants to base they shit on bad luck I want to know for sure or I am gonna zap them off my list... just checked one 0/4995 now come on..

Umm, rather than pissing into the wind, I would honestly recommend you just move on to another sponsor. There is NOTHING good coming out of this.

Hmm I not pissing in the wind.. I got in contact with a few of those high ratio sponsors and they say there's nothing wrong so I'll leave the links there and see what happens..

You seriously do NOT want to get into pissing on sponsors. I saw one of my MOST TRUSTED sponsors drop to 2 sales on 1:5000 the first 2 weeks of July then kickass the last 2 weeks.

That's life. Delete shitty links and move on. That's it!

On another note: If that sponsor that closed your account did email another sponsor or know them NOW you can see why it does NO good to shit on sponsors. Move on!!

Ok so sponsors can get back at you by telling other sponsors etc. But what if your trying to get money your owed? Am I going to get a bunch of sponsors pissed off and after me if I have to resort to posting something bad about them? I've had the best couple of months since I started in this business. I surely don't want to go backwards now. Guess I'm a big whimp, just a little person that is up against a really big one in the business.

If you are owed money that's one thing.

Briefly what happened is Plateman had his account cancelled by a sponsor for "poor results" and instead of forgetting about it and removing links and moving on he bad mouthed the sponsor and got into a big fight with them over a small amount of money.

We advised him to let it go rather than get into with them because sometimes that shit can bite you in the ass. ;)
