blacklisted at domain usefulscripts.com please tell me what to do
 

Hello,
My domain (vidsrealm.com) has been blackilsted at http://bl.usefulscripts.com because of remove of sponsor watermark. I have appeal the blacklist some time ago but I havent receive any answeer yet.
And I do not know who blacklisted me becaus it doesnt show.

So what do I have to do? Appeal again? If anybody can let me know what is normal to do if this happens...

Thing is that yes I removed watermark but I spoke to the sponsor and they say it was ok to remove it. I spoke on ICQ and I emaild him also. I attached a copy of email so you all can see...

I am not cheater :( I didnt want to do any smelly business. I am sure NOBODY of you received submits with sponsor content promoting another sponsor from me. I would not do somethng like that. I maybe I have made mistakes in past becoz I didn't know somethings but I think I made it right now and I appollogised for it...

I just wanted to ask if the person who blacklisted me is here to please let me know or if anybody knows what I have to do in this situation becoz some people say that they like my sites but they dont list me because I am on blacklist :(

You said it all in your email :( You even told the sponsor you get better lisitings with out the watermark hence you are trying to hide the fact that you are using sponsor content :(

Yes but MrMaryLou what I mean in the email is that some sites do not list if I have writings on the pictures :( and that is why I ask to remove it... Also if I have watermark on pictures thumbnail looks reaally bad :(
Please trust me when I say that i do not want to cheat anybody... If Link List owner has seen the pictures he can still deny and say content is overused or say "not submit sponsor content to me again becoz I will ban you" and I will not submit that anymore or he can even ban me on his site if he wants by I don't think it is fair to ban me on public.
And if it has not seen the pictures then why not list the site then am I not corect about this?

Yes and I do not want to hide that I use sponsor content even when I apply for partner account and I have to say what content provider I have then I always write "I use sponsor content" in the field... If wouldnt write that if I wnated to cheat...

I can't understand why Adult.com would allow that. To each his own I guess.

I for one do not accept sites with watermarks removed. Sponsor's ok or not. Sorry.

Not to worry Ramster I promoting another sponsor now and they gave me nice content with no watermarks, and I will buy content for my own very soon, I am just waiting for bank to releas my credid card I ordred.

Keep in mind, Vasi - reviewers don't know that you have permission to remove watermarks and they aren't going to contact the sponsor to find out. Avoid doing anthing that makes you appear to be cheating. 9 times out of 10, when someone crops out watermarks it because they stole the content or they are trying to trick the reviewer. You should avoid anysite that has rule against watermarks. That's fishy all on it's own.

When it comes to the use of sponsor content, just make sure you get to it as soon as it's released. Have your new templates ready and waiting so all you have to do is crop, optimize and submit. Being the first person to submit with new content will help avoid most rejections for over-used content.

If the content is good...the watermarks not overly intrusive...and I haven't seen/approved a site with that content before...I've got no probs with watermarks on sponsor content.

I gotta vouch for Vasi, I do think he's an honest webmaster. He makes some mistakes, but he seems really willing to do things right. I'm glad no one has flipped him shit :)

eman - what's wrong with a little watermark? It helps a bit to keep people from stealing your pics and if it's not too intrusive, it doesn't mess up the jerk-off quality of the image. I've been watermarking ALL of my purchased pics that I put out there on freesites and TGPs.

I think the watermark is fine as long as they are not very big. But respect the rules of each link list when you submit.

IMHO, Vasi deserves a second chance. Atleast he had admitted what he did and appealed for it.

I think I have been approving everything he has submitted since he bought hosting a while back. I remember this same discussion coming back then, and he or JohnnyR said that they had Adult.com's permission to crop their watermarks so I have never really worried about it.

Eman, I don't even know which list(s) you own, so I don't know if you're |blinky| or not. I don't agree with your rule because I fear that it motivates foolish submitters into cropping away copyrights illegally. But as we say, your site, your rules.

Yep, Vasi and JohnnyR have hit a few bumps. But, they both tried hard to smooth out those bumps and I list pretty much everything they submit. When there is an issue, they're very good about fixing it |thumb

Thirdly it seems my ban is still in place. I have to say I wish that blacklist told people who banned them... I don't think it is very respectful for the webmasters the way things is setup there now :( At least I know and maybe at least not submit to them anymore if they dont list my sites anyway. I think also there should be a warning about the blacklist like it is here on Possible Cheaters forum about the blacklists because it's likely that some people follow it like sheep...

Anyways... I don't know what more to do about this so I thing what is done is done and it seems the blacklist will remain. Life is hard. Anyway I will keep submiting my sites and the people who like them will list me and the ones who are not interested in anything but the black list will not and I will just not submit anymore to them.
