I've just spent 5 very long days wading through hundreds of semi-literate site submissions, most of which were rejected. I'm sure you've all seen the stuff I'm talking about: "sex actions", "young ****", etc ...

I've now extended my "reasons for rejection" to include all manner of dubious terms, many of which I'd never before thought of. The submitters have all been informed.

But hey, it's not all bad. Thankfully, something positive has now emerged. But sadly, no, Mrs Elastic still hasn't found her teeth.

The truth is, a lot of the rejected sites have been re-jigged, re-submitted, and are now ok. Not perfect English, but none of the ambiguous shit.

In part, at last, the language barrier has been overcome. Faith is restored.

It's worth the effort.

Anytime I see the word young used I then really check the site extra. Lately I've been getting some pretty bad stuff.

Do you automatically decline for the word young? Just wondering, because I am conflicted about it sometimes. I won't put it in my titles or descriptions, but it depends on how it is used on the site. I always pause for a long time...I usually decline, but sometimes I will list the site. Just curious what your opinion is on that.

I delete on sight at any of the current "mature women young boys" style sites. Beyond the individual free sites, I have looked at many of the sponsor sites, and I feel that they are playing the "young" card way too hard.

Basically, they mention that the boys are young and inexperienced, but they don't mention an age. They tend to slect the skinniest and wimpiest looking boys to use for their stuff.

There is also suggestions of non consentual sex acts. The content all appears to be Russian or other eastern block sourced, and I am not comfortable that everything in these sites is on the up and up.

Quite simply, because of the nature of these sites, regardless of wording of any individual free, and the questionable model ages and sources of content, they are just not something I am going to list.

I've now got a list banned sponsors that merit an immediate ban for a site, but I still believe that there are "innocent" submitters who want to do what's right. Let's face it, if we were living in the shadow of a Chernobyl or whatever with no prospects of a conventional career, wouldn't we try the porn angle? I'm genuinely encouraged when people under pressure go the extra mile to fit in.

No I don't, but it makes me look at everything about the site much more.

I gotta say it gets worse every day some fly by night sponsors come and go picking a niche thats close to the edge and then the webmasters do the rest :(

eman, I never have a problem with people trying to make money from porn, that is what I do every day of my life now. However, there is a difference between porn and pedophilia, no matter which way it is running (old man young girl, old woman youn boy).

These sites are, as MML said, mostly fly by night stuff, and they don't even try to suggest everyone is legal.

I feel sorry for the innocent submitter, except they ain't so innocent... they went and looked at the site, the promo content, and the banners / ads. If they can't tell that they are close to the edge, well...

I absolutely agree - if they're promoting an unacceptable site/sponsor I kick them straight out, and they're banned. I haven't got time to waste on pond life.

The point I was trying to make was that sometimes a site is almost ok: the site/sponsor is acceptable, most of the promotional material doesn't offend me, but there's an element which I'm not happy with. I'll reject the site, inform the wm, and take it from there. And it's specifically those sort of cases to which I would apply the label "innocent". Ironically, one of these cases involved ARS, who accidentally violated their own "banned words" guidelines.
