A good nasty Thursday to all
 

We have a big storm moving in. They say to look for up to 3 inches of snow :) I am ready but not quite that ready.

Good Day Folks :)

The wind started here last evening and hasn't let up yet, trees and tree limbs down. People here bag their leaves for pick up and the bags are strewn about everywhere. In addition the temp dropped 30 degrees. All and all a great start to this Thursday. |lightsabe

It's 70˚F here and sunny, not a cloud in the sky. :)
Let's see… when it snows and everyone gets stuck inside with nothing to do but surf for porn our sales go up, I love snow.

Which reminds me that I need to build and submit some new stuff, been too busy with other things this month, only so many hours in each day.

Same here Jim. Raining and windy as hell. Maybe a bit of snow late tonight. Not like down around the London Ontario way who have a heavy snowfall warning I believe. Greenguy, that's only a couple hours from you so maybe you'll see some snow too.

Damn I wish it will cool off a bit here. The dealer can't take my car in until Wednesday and my A/C is working like crap with cool air only coming out the floor vents. I'm a redhead in a Vette with cold feet and a hot head. :D

Time to get ready to go workout for a bit and then I'm planing on coming home and building and submitting some stuff for the first time in about a week.

I have yet to see any problem, however complicated, which, when you looked at it in the right way, did not become still more complicated. |knockout|

Just a funny story about the storm here - it is garbage day, so that means we all put out our cans & recycle bins last night. I checked on them when I got up & they were still there. Checked again around 11 & one of my recycle bins was gone! Now, I live on a hill & the wind is coming from the west which means it's blowing things up the hill. I can see a good 500 feet down the road & there's no sign up my bin - the wind pushed it up the hill & into someone yard (I assume)

Mind you, this recycle bin was full of glass bottles & jars - it was not light in weight by any means :D

Hmmm, I just heard a big explosion and now I'm sitting here with no electric listening to my UPSs beeping…

My laptop, ADSL, and wireless router are plugged into two large UPSs so I should be good for a few hours of working in the dark, lol.

As weird as it sounds, just over a week ago it was still 100 degrees here in southern California. Of course, yesterday we got 5 inches of rain in the span of a couple hours, so I suppose we're now getting our "what fer?"
