I recently saw a new program where webmasters could sell ringtones and porn for cell phones. Well, is it a good idea?

i'd guess sms chat and dating stuff works better. but maybe it's worth a try ? :)

i think there is a 12 step program for someone who needs to have porn pics sent thru his cell phone..but hey i guess there is something for everyone.. maybe the guy who can only jack off BEFORE he goes home.. or for those who want it at work but are afraid to view from their network..

those pics would be awfully small.. *thinking only one of Betty's Boobs would show*..

I have one of my tgp's set up for ppl on PDA's so this is the next step. It's a great idea IMO :)

I know guys that have naked pics on their cell phones, but I'm not sure how much of market it would be.

Most of the ones that do used the Bluetooth built into the phone to take them from their computer and the ones on their computer are just ones that they grabbed online.

seriously ringtones are a massive money maker in the UK and in other parts of Europe.

I am not sue how porn would do but the ringtones themselves are a proven seller.

I see all the uk ringtone programs but...I have a ton of them and never paid for one of them.

They are out there for free...you just need to look.

Selling ringtones are fine but...it's the porn on a cell phone that kills me. All I can picture is some poor husband that is not allowed to even sneak to a porn site on a pc and has to drive to some parking area, call using his cell phone and rub one out.

I just think the market is way too small.

Jim - do these thoughts of men alone in cars often comsume your thoughts?

well there are internet connections on phones - wap - and the displays are getting better and better over here. It isn't something I would buy but I bet there are people that would. There is a whole group of people over here now that don't have landlines in their homes but have a mobile instead. So you have a lonely guy pull it out of his pocket, dial in and pull the dick out with the other hand.

I do like the idea of using it as a payment plan. However, with the huge amount of kids with pay as you go type phones how do you prove the user is of legal age?

Jim, we're working on some things with the leader in this market in the UK, movies on your cellphone. It looks great and there is a market for it, the innovators love it.

There are a few things that need to be worked out still, but it has potential.

Looking at porn on a cell phone is like looking at a TGP gallery where the thumbs don't lead to a full sized pic when you click on them.

Think about it :D

I have a GPRS phone from T-moble, Ericsson T-610, with full internet access. I have the internet on it so that my laptop can use it as a modem for when I'm on the road. For this it works great allowing my to surf at 128k without even taking the phone out of my pocket, it talks to my laptop using Bluetooth.

It also allows me to surf on the phone itself with WAP enabled web sites. This is just painful to do and there is barely enough room on the display for the text never mind trying to get any images in there. There are phones with bigger displays, my rich neighbor bought one for $800, but the phone is so damn big that I can't see a lot of people buying one even if the price came down. Anyway even with its much larger display it is still way to small to browse web sites comfortable. At best it can play silly simple games and being so big it is really not a good phone to carry around. He is already not using it and carrying his much smaller phone instead.
