Hosted Free Sites

I was looking at building a simple link list. basically a place where i can list my free sites that i've built for SE purposes as well. to fill up the niches that i don't promote,i was going to go hunt for hosted free sites to fill up those niches.

now my question is, do the hosted free sites work? are they anything comparable for example what free hosted galleries are to TGPs?

does that make sense?

I'm asking this because if the hosted free sites aren't that popular, i wouldn't do the the trouble of building my own mini linklist.

Also, how hard is it to find hosted free sites across all niches?

thanks in advance.

I know of about 70 sponsors and several hundred webmasters that believe that they work.

I used to do really well with free sites.. The traffic on linklists seems to be alot better than regular tgp traffic..

hosted freesites work good :) and they're a nice filler for any linklist, especially if you can fill up your "weird" categories with them :) I've listed a ton on my personal linklist

Sponsors' hosted Freesites vary greatly in quality. Some are absolutely terrible and some are decent.

I know I get a few sales trickling in from sponsors that I don't promote in any other way than with HFS on hubs.

So is it worth the trouble? It's very little work to put up a few pages, add the links and when you're done it just sits there. Link to it from your other domains/freesites and traffic will come. Every little bit helps.

I just launched a webmaster scheme - Hosted freesites are hot on the agenda we have a couple ready to go already - all built within the rules though the recip tables have been replaced with HPA's.

Lemmy be good if you gave me some feed back here is a URL

Free site building is my background and Im working hard to give partners decent promo materials

Not Lemmy, but that one should fly.

When it comes to HFS you should be good to go if Chop says it's fine. (I think it should fly too ;) )

I am old but I don't forget much. I still have a link to one of your sites on the index page of HFS Links.

You know, if sponsors would just build hfs' to the rules of LL's they would not have any trouble getting them listed. You know it is not hard to figure out - don't over use templates, three links out, no blind links, etc.

Forgive the lil' rant. It was not directed at anyone
