Got a house inspector coming by this morning to inspect for the new mortgage that I'm getting.

Trying to decide if I need to put up my storm shutters or not. Doesn't look like I need to but that could change quickly. If I do I would have to put them up while it's raining so I doubt that I'm going to.

Guess I will be doing mostly indoor things for the next few days.

I did convert my home equity loan to a 15 year fixed at 4.5%. Is it time to remodel again already? :D

I don't think that a hurricane has actually ever come ashore on Fort Lauderdale's beach. This is history in the making, I should go stand on the beach with a video camera and shoot it. Actually I was suppose to shoot Angel today whacking off on her motorcycle but we cancelled it due to weather. I wonder if Angel is up for a beach shoot and getting a blowjob from mother nature? :D

Good news is that with the expected wind direction if my one large remaining ficus tree blows over it will land on my neighbor's house and not mine. :D

Bad news is that all my utilities run right through this ficus tree so it would take out my phone, cable, and electric. :(

|dog Opening my new 2257 compliant office space today!! |dog was thinking of doing a press release with a picture of Chyna in her corsette and knickers cutting the ribbon.. hmmmm might do that anyway. One thing i don't understand is that our building is forced to use Nevada Telephone for the telephone service, contract stuff.. well NV telephone doesn't offer DSL service.. |banghead| so i'm forced for the moment to use NetZero's high speed dial up |angry| until i can get wifi'd. I hate being technically inept.

Hopefully on Saturday we'll be doing affiliate content shoots and get rolling here.. i have one planned with a blonde python wrapped around her brown bootay.. |rock|

My son and i had a late dinner with a friend near Red Rock last night.. so we drove up into the canyon a little bit afterwards and sat on some rocks over looking some ancient petroglyphs, had a nice little talk and lit a candle for Greenie's son.. wishing him well into his next life.. Was a nice bonding moment. |lovers|

Morning! Well looks like all the sales I make are going to pay for a huge vet bill!! My dog is really sick, took her yesterday to the vet and she had a bunch of tests done. She's on a bunch of medication. Its more expensive to take her to the doctor than one of the kids!! I should have been a Vet.... :) Of course I've had my best month ever as far as sales go. Oh well I love my dog and am just glad she will get better.

Cleo good luck with the storm! I think all we will get is a lot of rain from it.

Just got in from putting all my shutters up except for the really big ones that go over my screened in porch. I'll put those up if it looks like it is going cat 2 as they only take about ten minutes to put up. I figured I would put them up while it wasn't hot and we had a little break in the rain but I did get soaking wet as a downpour started after I was about 3/4 of the way done. I'm getting really good at this and got them all up in less then twenty minutes. I figure in a few years I should be able to do them in under ten minutes with my eyes closed and one hand tied behind my back.

I'm short a few shutter screws so I guess I get to make a trip to Home Depot, that should be a fun hell of lines. The big question is where the hell did all the screws go on one window as I leave them in the wall when I take down the shutters. I'm guessing that someone needed screws and helped themselves to mine.

Home inspector called to reschedule for some odd reason. He said something about a storm as the reason.

gahh, you talking about WET!!!??? Rainfalls have been destroying many houses here! damn crazy weather

I'm having a horrible time getting any real work done today. Anyone have any sedatives, strong alcohol, rubber mallet, anything?

We had a nasty rainstorm (mini tornado) last friday. It rained SUPER HARD for 1 hour straight. In that hour, several parts of the greater toronto area had experienced flooding, damaged trees, abandoned cars, scattered debris, etc.

I realize it was only an hour but it was the strongest rainstorm I've ever seen in Toronto - EVER. I was talking to a friend of mine that was driving on the highway (freeway if you live in the US) and at one point he pulled over onto the shoulder because he just couldn't see anymore!

The newspapers are reporting that the damage from this storm is the tens of millions of dollars and that insurance companies are being slammed with calls and complaints.

Home Depot actually wasn't too bad except for trying to get around two car wrecks on the way there. Most people had stuff that couldn't be taken through the self checkout so I was able to do the self checkout without any line.

Angel called me to say that her bedroom was flooded because the roof over it was leaking. I told her last summer that the gravel roof over that part of the house needed to be replaced since it had stuff growing out of it and the soffits were all rotted.

It's back to work thursday. We had a festival (short for: another excuse to get drunk 5 days in a row) in our town the past week so I didn't get much done.
