Now Skype will never break through I'm afraid.

I have MSN messenger, Yahoo messenger and ICQ. Don't think I need another IM app.

I have been looking at this as it's something I need to be up on, many of the hosts on my new site might start using it. So Ill need to use another IM software. Hard to say it will be used or not. It was only a few years ago everyone was jumping on the excite search engine or yahoo, then google just blew everyone out of the water. So I still think it can take hold. Have to wait and see.

I might start using this for personal and adult buisness conversations. i hate ICQ.

one thing I noticed is that you have to rename every "friend" you add yourself. Now it shows their email addy not their actual nickname.

hollygoodhead -> changed to docholly
kenn.ross -> changed to ADK

Now I only got to get myself a headset of any kind and we can chit-chat all night long :D

I didn't know you could name your contacts, interesting. Makes it easier for people who know me under different nicknames to know who I am on their list. (most of my Messenger contacts wouldnt know who ADK is, and most people at GG&J dont know my full name, etc.)
