Disco time!
 

Hi!

I've been to the local bars, yesterday. Let's see how this night will be. I'm going to a disco, where I haven't been for years. My (little) sister picks me up at 10:30pm, then we'll meet with some of her friends, have a few drinks and we'll hit the disco at 0:30am.

Saturday Night Fever was my favorite movie when it came out but I hated Disco. But you just can't beat that bridge scene.

For me it was when Bud knocked out Sissy's new boyfriend & found out he was robbing the bar of all the money from the mechanical bull contest!

As for John Travolta I couldn’t stomach him period until his rebirth a few years ago when he started actually acting.

Besides Saturday Night Fever, the only other movie I liked him in was Pulp Fiction.

I was more into punk rock, but I did very much like Donna Summer's voice. I was also a big Grace Jones fan.

I often mix old disco stuff in on the mixes that I listen to while working out. I pretty much like music that has a beat to it. ;)

my car cd's consist of very eclectic mix varying on each from Grand Funk RR to Johnny Cash to Thelma Houston to Boney James to Biggie to Rick James *no relation* to Paul Simon to Donna Summer to Ohio Players.

Each envokes a different mood, usually NEVER matching the current traffic pattern but sitting in traffic is much easier to swallow when in my Head i'm doing "the Hustle".

well, over here you shouldn't go anywhere before midnight. if you go out before, you won't meet anybody (but kids).
