Michael Brown Resigns

Just heard it on fox as I was walking by the TV. Now if we can just get the guy that's really to blame to resign.

Two weeks too late. Lives might have been saved with someone else in charge there.

Chop Smith 2005-09-12 06:07 PM

Who is this Micheal Brown?

I'm not sure it would have mattered much. The President wasn't concerned and most of Washington was shut down for the holiday week. any way. It seemed like no one cared.

Michael Brown was head of FEMA and the main guy responsible for providing support after Katrina.

Oh as in "Brownie you are doing a hell of a job".

Who is George Bush?

Oh he is the guy in that big airplane that stops in from time to time to have his picture taken with little black girls

Erick G 2005-09-12 07:59 PM

Like we didnt see that coming..
ALL of them need to go.. NOW!

Thumbler 2005-09-12 08:13 PM

The main culprit isn't a guy, it's a woman.

Who is Chop Smith?

He's that cantankerous survivor of Hurricane Katrina...without help from the touring handshaker's and picture takers.

|headbang| Go Chop!!!

Yes Sir! The field workers deserves applaud. The bureaucrats, starting with Bush and working down, can kiss my ass. Bush and his cronies are just wasting gas coming down here. That fuel could be used to power generators.

RawAlex 2005-09-12 08:31 PM

Bush has "found" the cause of the troubles, or at least they guy who is going to take the fall and the blame.

2 days before the storm hit, the area was a FEDERAL disaster area. Why the heck did the President and VP stay on vacation while their country faced a huge challenge that affected millions of people in two or three states... and has rippled across almost every other state in the union.

It's sad to hear "no spin" O'Reilly massively trying to spin this all back to the state and local people.

Sad.

Erick G 2005-09-12 08:56 PM

I used to like O'Reilly but he is turning into a real cocksucker
His "no" spin zone is getting ridiculous..

He doesn't understand that "no spin" should apply to both sides... and if you have a very heavy and strong opinion (read, talking points) then there is no way you can not have spin. The talking points are SPIN.

He is a true waste of airtime.

Everyone will believe that it's all Brown's fault and stop the head hunting there. While it's true that he is not capable of handling such a situation a few phone calls from Dubya would have paved the way and gotten Brownie enough support to start saving lives. Obviously those lives are not as important as the fund raisers.
