Porn Mega Bucks Redirecting Hosted Galleries
 

For those using Porn Mega Bucks, you might want to know all hosted galleries (far as I can see) are redirecting to some ones AFF account. So nice to use our traffic for their gain. I posted a message about it on their board and e-mailed support, 4 days ago with no reply to either, sure dont make things look good. I happened to notice it 4 days ago, could have been longer.

I can understand shit happens, but it's sure should'nt still be going on 4 days later. And why it's going to a AFF account, rather than a site in the program.

Thought some would like a heads-up.

Double check for yourself, but a friend and I see them going to AFF.

It's like stealing your traffic if you ask me. Funny also, you go to erotic punishment, look at the exit link. To many things not right at that program.

Lucky I only had a handfull of their FHG's. But all their links are coming down. Who knows what else will happen.

Real sad, use to be a great program...:(

One of the jobs of my bots is to check for any changes to sites since they were submitted. If they find a change they pull it and re-queue it for me to check by hand.

The kind of crap you are describing would get banned by me.

Recently in auditing our hosted galleries I came across some that I
could not get my hands on the docs from the content publishers. Since
right now we have exactly ZERO images in our member areas (we are
using a bunch of image gallery plugins from various providers).


I kind of freaked out in a panic stricken way and renamed the galleries
that had content we would not be able to get IDs from the publishers /
vendors.


That would have taken surfers to a regular ole 404 page except for the
fact that I changed the .htaccess some time ago to take 404s to AFF. (I
was sending several domains to various programs on the 404s when
June 23rd rolled around because I had sites so old that the content
providers were selling production stills and wouldn't be able to provide
IDs for any of that, so rather than fix the sites with new content, I
deleted them) I deleted 1000s of sites, many of the AVS sites. I had
some of those sites on the hosted gallery domain.


An extremely stupid error on my part and I will think of a way to fully
compensate those that were sending traffic to my panic mode fuck up.


I couldn't steal from someone and sleep right, so please accept this as
a formal apology.


I'm working on the hosted galleries with new content to get them all
back working again this week, next week early at the latest if I hump it.


I'm very embarrassed, and very sorry.

Bill fucked up & I can tell by this email he feels really stupid about it - give'em a break - he's a good guy.

I agree, he's a great guy. He was one of my idol's when I started back in the day, seriously. Maybe thats why this really surprized me. Enough from me..:)
