Has anybody noticed that their servers are really slow after the power outage yesterday?

It would be my guess that one of their traffic paths was probably affected, forcing all of the traffic out a different path -- which might now be overloaded.

I'll take your word for it. :) Sounds reasonable though.

Ya login into my email has been slow. I was reading they probably did have back up generators etc but average only lasts 4-8 hours when they have to hold up the hole network. Good hosting companies will say image there network from the west coast and have another image on the east coast so if a situation ever happens like what happened in LA the network wouldnt go down
