Underage Performer again
 

I don't know if this board wishes this information passed on, but since I get this newsletter and I know not everyone does, I pass on what I think is pertinent to webmasters. I just got this today from FSC:

Industry Alert: Another Potentially Underage Performer


Canoga Park, Ca. – The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) and the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) have received information to the effect that a male performer working under the name Brent Corrigan was underage while performing. The only information we have at this time includes the aforementioned stage name, the allegation that the individual was 17 years old at the time of filming but has since turned 18, and four gay-themed titles he is alleged to have performed in as a minor.

The titles in question were produced by Cobra Video, distributed by Pacific Sun Entertainment, and include:

Bareboned Twinks
Casting Couch 4
Every PoolBoy’s Dream
School Boy Crush

The Free Speech Coalition recommends that until the facts in this case are clarified, all above titles and promotional materials should be immediately removed from circulation and distribution, and all content, online and offline, that contains the performer named Brent Corrigan should be removed and sealed for attorney review and consultation. As the Free Speech Coalition gets additional information, we will post it on our Website.

I agree with Jim. Any time you spot these things, bring them on. We are all better for being informed.

I do wonder if these people are using good fake docs or not.

Chad Belville (http://www.chadknowslaw.com) uncovered this one and has documentary proof - he said so on one of the gay boards.

i have to say, I really try and give people the benefit of the doubt.... however, if he already has an attorney it makes me kind of suspiscious. I wonder if he will be going after the producers of the video.

granted, I think its good they made the anouncement. whether or not he decieved them intentionally it doesnt matter - he is still underage. but it makes me nervous concerning the 2257 regs. will this be used as evidence in support of the new regs?

I'm wondering whether all producers will now just start running background checks on performers to verify they are adults - maybe some of the larger companies already do so.
