Server Stats.

|cry| I gotta question about the traffic coming across my main index. According to my server stats I am averaging about 10,000 visitors a day to http://wwwnaughtybabs.com. Rough math is approx. 300,000 visits per month. I am wondering if so many surfers are hitting my site why would I not see more sales. I would think that with 10,000 visitors a day I could expect a sale a day if not atleast every two days from my hub. Am I missing something or does my site just suck |cry| My server uses webalizer and I keep pretty close tabs on it so I know these are my averages. Maybe I should have someone redesign the site to make it more appealing, cuz I'm pretty sure my design skills suck sour frog ass :D Any ideas, comments, suggestion,or just telling me to go fuck myself would be appreciated |mml|

I have those stats also and I think your reading what goes to the root with all the sub folders.. my one domain the other month had almost 600k and that is total for everything on it... Its very unlikely that your sending 10k a day to your hub most semi mature LL dont get 10k a day

Also what traffic that does filter to your hub off of free sites doesnt convert all that well - because its free lookers looking for more free.. you start to get more sales when your hub draws se traffic ;)

I see, Guess I never thought of it that way.

Also, is that "uniques"? That would be a more accurate count of the true number of surfers.

try to put other stats soft webalizer is really sucks , you need something more accurate and with more detailed info
try to use Awstats or Wusage ;)

Make sure that you are looking at "Visits" and not "hits".

Server stats also show hits and they are very different from visits.

One visit could have 10 or 100 or I suppose even 1,000 hits.

10,000 *visits* a day should probably see a sale about every day. Unless it is TGP traffic (which it is not?)

Of the 10,000 how many do you send to sponsors?

If at least 500 - 1000 + you should be getting a sale a day on average.

Damn, I miss the good old days when the calculation was for every visit you got in a day was about the amount you would make in a month. My first site was getting about 15k visits/day which almost always translated to $15k/month. Sad that those days seem to be gone forever.
