Review my Senior hub
Hi all
Just did some updating on my Senior Frolics hub page. http://www.seniorfrolics.net I would appreciate any suggestions and advice from the pros here. Especially as several of you have your link lists posted on it. Thanks in advance |
Perhaps it's just my monitor, but the color of your text/background is a bit jarring. It's hard to read, and causes some eye-strain.

Yupz,
Red on blue is always hard to read, changing the background into a darker shade of blue and the red text into a lighter color (white, yellow) would be much better. |
Thanks for the comments
I've actually changed the font to a more friendly verdana,. I went the other way on the color scheme though, actually making the background much lighter and the font bolder and darker....I've run it through several versions of netscape, one opera and of course 3 IE's. I've looked at it on my 21" Trinitron, my 19" lcd, My 15" laptop and even the old 17" on my server and the 15" on the print server...Seems to me to be ok now. Could you guys look at it now? Also any rec's on the design and flow? |
You need way more differentiation and structure between the different components of the page so I can find exactly what I'm looking for, think colours, fonts, tables, borders. Put some descriptive sales text above/ beneath each banner, or better yet, make custom table ads. You also have some html and linking code errors (eg. the text link to grammacash has an extra space in it and it going to a 404).

Thanks...all in bordered tables now, and fixed those html errors...hmm..I had done a complete test on it, but with all the changes somehow I got the %20 added to 11 of the links....the link above now goes to the default warning page, but if you want to look directly it is
