Happy Grand Daughter Saturday :)
 

My Daughter"s man is going to a Yankees game so, we have been volunteered to watch our Grand Daughter :) So, we have a busy weekend planned going to the zoo and watching the civil war guys do their thing at the old church :)

My old house is no longer my old house. It was gone as of tomorrow and my wife and I took a deep breath of relief. No more flooding, no more plowing, no more worries when hunting season arrives and we hear the shots whistling by our ears...and best of all, no more moving.

Been up since sunrise for no reason at all. I really need to start getting more sleep. My new kitten is starting to mellow so I'm hopeful that soon I will no longer be walking around in a sleep deprived state of existence. Had to get up early anyway today as I need to go let in some workers over at my neighbor's house this morning and take a pic of his new pool so that I can mail it to him. His 95 year old mom is nearing her end so he is up there seeing to her needs and is freaking out because his house is in the middle of having the whole backyard redone including having a spa put in the middle of his pool. It's really nice, he has marble tiled his whole backyard and yesterday they did the diamond bright in the pool and started filling it. Not sure when the landscaping is being started. Going to do some shoots in it once it is done and his boat is parked behind his house again. When I grow up I want to have toys like his.

Some friends are coming down today so we can go over to the Imax theater and then have dinner on Los Olas.

After a wonderful day |angry| of sitting in my non-internet connected store and having just over 200.00 in sales for the day.. i come home to find out that i have to spend the better part of today at the Clark Co. Health District.

it seems some dude serving ice cream for schwab's had been infectious at the time. the problem is that all over the show floor were little stands giving out free food etc.. and no one can remember if they had it or not. and while they have his schedule and what stand he was at different times..it seems no one can pin it down.. So everyone has to come in and be given a shot. 30K just here in Las Vegas alone. all craming into the health district today and tomorrow.

Lawn mowing day here...looks like a good day for it too. No rain on the horizon...although sometimes a few showers is nice to cool off.

Went to a comedy club last night & the headliner was pretty funny (MC & opening act guy sucked balls) Plus he called MML "Santa Claus" :D

I then watched the hurricane until 5 or so, so I'm going back to bed before I'm off to a stag at 5 |thumb

Dial tone and DSL are back and all services seem to be working reliably again as of this morning, so aside from having a week's worth of correspondence and messages to answer, and other assorted catching up to do, it's shaping up to be a great day.

Looks like Katrina is still making trouble for others though. I hope everyone checks in okay today.

Holly - damn, that really sucks! I hope you can get yours and get out of that mess.

Surgery whent well yesterday.
I won a Ipod nano too so it wasnt all bad.

Well - we're still in the thick of things here - just had a tornado go by about 3 miles to the west of me -looks like these bands of thunderstorms and the "tropical force" winds were supposed to be in for two days have definitely moved in overnight - and with all the weakening of everything we had three weeks ago we should be seeing a few more trees go down - but my trusty chainsaw is ready :)
