submitters targetting 'russian teens'? Am I missing something? Or am I right to be suspicious of that phrase in metas?

Got a sub just now with the text 'specially selected teens from Russia' which kinda puts me on edge, but for reasons I can't rightly explain. Hopefully someone knows what the hell I mean and can share their own views :)

Seems to be those skinny models that attract that phrase, all bone and little else, which makes me uneasy. I dunno, maybe I'm being too sensitive, but it just seems odd, like they are targetting the 'look, this model is so undeveloped she could almost be a .....' yaknow?

I can only advice you - don't being too sensitive. If paysites produced that content for their affiliates billed by ccbill, paycom or over famous proccessing companies and has 2257 page it makes sure everything is ok. And these models are 18+(if you mean this issue).
And keep in mind also, here in Russia even MILFs looks like 18yo teens on only 500 calories a day ))
