Is it ok to change the recip table

I mean, if you have a site that was rejected at a few LL's, is it ok to replace the rejected recip with another to submit at?

why waste the time going back and changing out recips? That time could be used to build another freesite. If you get rejected quite a bit at a particular LL, then remove them from your submission list.

BUILD......SUBMIT.....FORGET.

If you submitted 10 different mirrors, then I'd say forget about 'em, but if you just built one site with 16 recips, I would say go ahead and change the recip. Why link to a site that's not linking back to you?

I understand what your saying halfdeck....but consider this too..
rscott waits a week and doesn't see any traffic from unclethumper, so he goes back and replaces my recip. That same day, I'm working thru my backlog and approve his site to be listed the next day. Now he has removed my recip after being listed and will be added to the blacklist as a cheater.

Better to just move on to the next site and adjust your submission list as necessary.

I was talking about known rejections, so my thinking was like halfdeck.

But your right, why waste the time.

Thanks,

Hey majick,

I agree that's a scenario I'd definitely like to avoid.

But let's say I want to keep my submit list as is, but one of the LL's that usually lists my free sites decides not to list one because of overused content or whatever. In that case I will replace that recip - if I have free time on my hands.

This is the right philosophy to succeed. The link traffic is minimal and when you submit a site it has no PR value so just build build build.

There may be a site that you submit to 6 times in a row and get rejected because you were just short of what the reviewer expected or you used overused content. The on the seventh time you got your technique down well enough and could have gotten listed or bought some little used or fresh content and could have got listed but you gave up on the list after six tries.

Not to mention that if a reviewer sees a webmaster is actually tying he will cut them a bit of slack.

Now if you build and submit once a week or month then just forget what I just said :(
