Please Don't Promote Sites To Death
 

Just a note as I continue making my way through my backlog :)

Promoting a few sites consistently is a great strategy to see if they convert on free site traffic. Building and submitting a free site every day that promotes the same sponsor site is suicide for two reasons:

1) Link list owners won't fill up an entire category with similar looking free sites that promote the same paysite

2) Even if you successfully filled up one of my categories, if a surfer isn't turned on by the one particular site you're promoting you just lost a bunch of potential sales because you didn't diversify.

Promoting one niche until you're really good at it then moving on to another is a great idea. Promoting the same site every day for 2 months isn't.

You need to rotate the niches you promote or at least rotate the sites if you're sticking with a single niche.

A few from my overpromoted list:

--American Fatties
--Young Fatties
--MILF Cruiser
--Hardcore Partying (their free content doesn't even contain nudity until about 50 sec. in, and if I was a surfer and clicked on 4 movie clips and still haven't seen any titty I'm OUT) :)

Not ragging on anyone in particular, just noticing trends here. A trend I see in my longtime submitters is that they build a site every day and rotate between 3 or 4 niches |thumb

Great post - I totally agree.
I got my sites splitted in more than 30 categories and try to filter those who do well for me. Anyway, from time to time I also try those worse niches just promoting other paysites - you never know how will it convert with your traffic untill you don't give it a try.
Submitting 15 sites into one niche and 1 to other will make you to draw wrong conclusions and will stick you for good in this one niche, what as MadMax said is suicide

The only sites I'm receiving too many of is TCG's Mr. Chew and Pimp my Black Teen

I realize that with a new sponsor, everything is new to you. But on my end, I've probably already seen it hundreds of times.
Diversify and buy some damn content for yourself, it's not that expensive.
Look at the top here, Resources > Content Providers

I was actually considering a little thing for my submit page that would look at your previous submit and not allow you to submit to the same category. I ahve a low tolerance for tempalted crap sites, so I tend to just push the "decline" button a fair bit... and if it gets to be too much, I click the "blacklist" button and I don't have to deal with those anymore.

But an automated system might be a good way to keep people from over doing it.

OK so I'm building 2 galleries a day and a free site.

I'm only working the teen niche and busty niche right now.

Lay it out for me how I should be building and submitting.

Is this routine ok:

Day 1 - Build a teen fs with sponsor A
Day 2 - Build a busty fs with sponsor B
Day 3 - Build a teen fs with sponsor C
Day 4 - Build a busty fs with sponsor D

Then repeat?

If you change your templates :)

But what are you going to do the rest of the month? Since you've pretty much used up you niche for this month.

I build "new" sites each day. So after the first month I'll have 30 templates....

I'm not really sure what you mean for "the rest of the month?

its about time some of these submitters get the message about using the same sponsor and same pay site and most often using almost the same templates.... beeen tired of it for a good while..

Guess you all got tired of me submitting the same sponsor for like 10 sites in a row? lol. At least I try to change up the design on each site. :) And I use a sponsor that wasn't listed as over used. *whew*

I guess we are lucky with our link lists, we seem to get more fetishes and smaller niches submitted then more "main stream" sites, so don't see that as much as a problem.

And I'm all for softcore tease barely any nudity not only because of the 2257 crap, but I believe in making them pay for the good stuff. IMHO
